I’m requesting prayer for a wrongful lawsuit against me. There was a frivolous lawsuit filed against me regarding a rental home that I own. I have not lived at the property since 2016. The house was rented out and in late 2021 a delivery driver went to deliver a package to the nextdoor neighbor and stepped in a hole that nobody knew existed. The discovered hole on the date of the accident was near the curb where there is a large crack by a storm gutter. It was very close to the property line of the nextdoor neighbor who has 4 children and a dog. The delivery driver trespassed through my rental home property to take a shortcut and walk through the grass of both properties to deliver the package. The attorney for plaintiff is stating I should’ve known about this hole and should’ve taken care of it. My renter did not know about the hole and neither did all the surrounding neighbors. My prayer request is that the truth will prevail and that the judge would dismiss this frivolous lawsuit. I do have insurance and my insurance company said they see 0% negligence on my part and that’s why they denied the claim. I just wish this would be over soon as this has been going on for almost 2.5 years. We just had depositions last week and that caused me a lot of stress and anxiety. I trust in God but this has been so upsetting as this has taken up so much of my time and has caused me to miss some visits to my mom who is in a nursing home. Please pray for me and all of those affected in this lawsuit. I feel sorry for the man who took a shortcut and injured himself but I don’t feel like I should have been sued for something I didn’t know about and had no control over. We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Thnetaino and their prayer request regarding the wrongful lawsuit filed against them. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention and guidance in this situation. We pray for justice and truth to prevail in the courtroom.
Father, you are the ultimate judge, and we trust in your wisdom and righteousness. We ask that you touch the heart of the judge overseeing this case, granting them discernment to see the lack of negligence on Thnetaino's part. May the judge dismiss this frivolous lawsuit, bringing an end to this prolonged legal battle.
We thank you, Lord, for the insurance company's assessment that there is no negligence on Thnetaino's part. We pray that this affirmation will be recognized and acknowledged by all parties involved.
During this challenging time, we ask for your peace to surround Thnetaino. Ease their stress and anxiety, providing comfort and strength. We pray that you would grant them the ability to visit their mother in the nursing home, bringing them solace and precious moments together.
Father, we also lift up the delivery driver who was injured. We pray for their healing and recovery. May they find grace and understanding in this situation, realizing that Thnetaino had no knowledge or control over the unforeseen circumstances that led to their accident.
Lord, we commit this entire lawsuit into your hands. We trust in your sovereignty and believe that you will work all things together for good. May your presence be felt throughout the legal proceedings, bringing clarity and resolution.
