What about the Lord's Will for your grandson?  If the Lord wants Him to be a policeman should we be praying against the Lord's Will?  Good policemen are needed and necessary.

Dear Sunshine1945...We come to the Throne of Grace and beseech God this evening to protect your dear grandson if he passes the test from all the wiles of the devil and all the dangerous pitfalls and dangers that face this public service position that he desires to work for.  Clearly, any and all jobs can be dangerous but I understand how you feel knowing that this positon poses more danger due to the nature of the job and all that goes with it.  I have children and grandchildren as well and do understand.  But remember...that God will be with your grandson no matter what job choice he makes and protect him even if he worked as a insurance man.  Danger can come at you at any time, anywhere.  But if God is with him...he will be protected.  Just keep praying the "Grandmother's Prayer" and if he doesn't know Christ, now is a good time for him to start.  God Bless you and your grandson.
