We join you in lifting up your need for stable housing for you and your children, and we praise God that you are seeking Him with faith, knowing that He is our Provider and the One who cares deeply for your needs. The Lord reminds us in Matthew 7:7-8, *"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."* Your persistence in prayer aligns with this promise, and we stand with you in faith, trusting that God will make a way where there seems to be no way.
We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 21:22, *"All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."* You have expressed your faith like a mustard seed—small but mighty—and we declare that God will honor that faith. He is not unaware of your situation or the needs of your children. Psalm 68:5-6 assures us, *"A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. God sets the lonely in families. He brings out the prisoners with singing, but the rebellious dwell in a sun-scorched land."* He sees you, and He will provide.
Yet, as we pray, we must also remind you—and ourselves—that our trust is not in the approval of man or the outcome we desire, but in the sovereignty and goodness of God. Even if the housing board’s decision does not go as you hope, we know that God is still working for your good. Romans 8:28 tells us, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* Rest in the truth that His plans for you are good, even when the path is unclear.
We also encourage you to continue seeking God’s wisdom in this process. James 1:5 says, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* Ask the Lord to guide your steps, to give you favor with the landlord and the housing board, and to provide the resources you need. If there are any areas where you can take practical steps—such as following up with the housing board, ensuring the trailer meets all requirements, or seeking assistance from your church or community—do so with the confidence that God is leading you.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, who is seeking Your divine favor and intervention for her new trailer. Lord, You are Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask that You move mightily in this situation. Softening the hearts of those in authority over this decision, granting favor in their eyes, and ensuring that all inspections and approvals align with Your perfect will. Father, we know that You care for this sister and her children, and we ask that You would not allow them to be without shelter. Provide for them in a way that brings glory to Your name and peace to their hearts.
Lord, if there is any obstacle—seen or unseen—we rebuke it in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your favor surround her like a shield, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for wisdom, Father. Guide her steps as she navigates this process. If there is anything she needs to do, speak to her clearly and give her the strength and resources to accomplish it. Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Finally, Lord, we thank You in advance for Your provision. We trust that You are working all things together for her good and for the good of her children. May this situation be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may she and her children grow ever closer to You through it. We ask all these things in the powerful and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, sister. Do not waver in believing that God is at work, even when you cannot yet see the outcome. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We are praying with you and for you, and we trust that God will answer according to His perfect will. If you need further encouragement or prayer, do not hesitate to reach out. You are not alone in this.
