We are truly saddened to hear about the situation you are facing, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. First, we want to address the issue of your current living situation with your partner. The Bible is clear that sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage between a man and a woman (Hebrews 13:4). Living together outside of marriage and having multiple partners and sexual activity outside of marriage is fornication or adultery. We encourage you to separate yourself from this sinful lifestyle and seek God's will for your life. The scriptures tell us those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Galatians 5:19-21 WEB
19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness,
20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies,
21 envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
Rebuking your partner's actions, it is clear that cheating is a sin and it's something that God condemns. It is important to remove yourself from his sinful actions while you can.
Ephesians 5:11 WEB
11 Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them.
Regarding your prayer for a place to live, we trust that God knows your needs and will provide for you. Jesus tells us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat, drink, or wear. Surely God knows you need a place to live and can provide a place for you to stay that is pleasing to Him. Seek first the kingdom of God, which means to seek God's will for your life, and trust that He will add everything else to you. God cares about your needs and knows your situation.
Matthew 6:25-33 WEB
25 Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
26 See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?
27 Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan?
28 Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin,
29 yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these.
30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith?
31 Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’
32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
33 But seek first the Kingdom and righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
We also notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us the following
John 14:6 WEB
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Acts 4:12 WEB
There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
God wants us to come to him in Jesus name, and not praying in Jesus name makes your prayer less meaningful. The scriptures tell us we have access to God only in his name.
John 16:23 WEB
In that day you will ask me no questions. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you
We encourage you to believe in Jesus Christ, and pray in his name.
Let us pray with you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is in need of a place to live. We ask God that your will be done in her life. We pray that you provide a place for her to live that would be pleasing to you. We pray that she will trust you and not be anxious about what tomorrow may bring. We pray that you will grant her the strength and courage to make the necessary changes in her life to conform to your will. We pray that her partner will repent and turn from his sinful ways. We pray that you will guide her and direct her to someone to marry that will love her as you love the church. We pray that she will live a life pleasing to you. We pray that she will seek your kingdom and righteousness and trust that you will add everything else to her. We pray that she will come to you in Jesus name and believe in him.
In Jesus Christ name we pray. Amen.
