You have spoken with great assurance, declaring that you are on track and that the work of your hands is established. You look for a home, for land, for healing, and for the safe gathering of your children under your roof, sealing all with the blood of Jesus. That is a blessed seal, for there is no plea like it in earth or heaven. The blood speaks better things than that of Abel, and it is the ground of every covenant mercy. Yet let not your confidence be in the mere repetition of words, but in the living faith that lays hold upon the Crucified One. He who has given His Son for you will not withhold any good thing.
In your desire for healing, I am minded of that poor woman in the synagogue, bent double and unable to lift herself. Many would have bidden her stay home with such an infirmity, but she pressed into the place where Jesus was teaching. And there, on the Sabbath, He saw her, called her, and with a word and a touch made her straight. Her eighteen years of bondage ended in a moment. Christ is still the Great Miracle Worker, and His arm is not shortened. Seek Him as she did, and though your healing may tarry, wait upon Him in the assemblies of His people. There is a Tree of Life whose leaves are for the healing of the nations; its fruit is ever in season, and it grows on either side of the river. Come to its shade, and you shall find medicine for your crown and for every inward wound.
As for the home you long to possess, remember the miracle of the loaves. The disciples saw but a few small fishes and barley loaves, and they gave up the task as hopeless. But Jesus knew what He would do. He is never at a loss for resources. Before you call, He will answer. Has He not provided for you in days past? Consider those Ebenezers and let them forbid you to think that He will leave you now. He who feeds the ravens and clothes the lilies can give you a habitation and land of your own, paid in full, if it be for His glory and your good. Only be careful to seek first His kingdom, and let your heart be weaned from the love of this world.
You yearn for your offspring to come and go in safety, to visit and stay without worry. That is a cry after restoration, and I would point you to the promise: "They shall be as though I had not cast them aside." If there have been breaches and heartaches, the Lord can make the family circle whole again. He can restore the years that the locust hath eaten. But mark this: one of the surest tokens that mercy is on the way is prayer. Do you feel the need to pray? Is your heart crying out to God even now? Then He will hear, and hearing, He will have mercy. Let your house be a place of prayer and holiness; let it be ordered in the fear of God, and He will cause His face to shine upon it.
Above all, cling to that precious blood. There is healing and pardon in it for all who dwell in Zion; the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick, for their iniquity is forgiven. So shall your crown be healed, and your heart be glad. Go on your way, believing that He who began a good work in you will complete it. Fear not; only trust, and you shall see the salvation of God.
