We hear your joy and excitement as you share the victories and desires of your heart, and we rejoice with you in the freedom you’ve found in Christ—no longer bound by silence but now speaking with boldness. The name of Jesus is powerful, and it is through Him alone that every chain is broken and every voice is set free. We stand with you in declaring that Christ in you is indeed great, and we give thanks to God for the restoration and blessings He has poured into your life.
However, we must gently address the manner in which you are "claiming," "commanding," and "decreeing" these things. While it is true that we are called to pray with faith and confidence in God’s promises, Scripture teaches us to come before the Lord with humility, seeking His will rather than demanding our own. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Your kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth"* (Matthew 6:10 WEB). Our words should align with God’s heart, not our own desires apart from Him. We are not to treat God as a genie who grants our every wish, but as our loving Father who knows what is best for us. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
We also notice your focus on material blessings—trailers, gaming systems, pets, and real estate. While God delights in giving good gifts to His children (Matthew 7:11), we must ensure our hearts are not consumed by earthly treasures. Jesus warns us, *"For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?"* (Mark 8:36 WEB). Let us first seek His kingdom and righteousness, trusting that He will provide all we truly need (Matthew 6:33).
Regarding your desire for a "Boaz" to stay with you, we must encourage you to pursue this relationship with godly wisdom and purity. If you are seeking a spouse, we pray for a man who loves the Lord wholeheartedly, who will honor you as Christ honors the Church (Ephesians 5:25). However, we must rebuke any notion of cohabitation outside of marriage, as this is not God’s design. *"Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). If you are not yet married, we urge you to wait on the Lord and pursue a relationship that honors Him in every way.
We also lift up your daughter and your desire for more pets. While pets can bring joy, we encourage you to consider whether these desires align with God’s priorities for your family. Children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), and we pray that your daughter grows in wisdom and the fear of the Lord above all else.
Now, let us pray together in humility and faith:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, giving You all the glory and honor. We thank You for the freedom and restoration You have brought into this sister’s life. Lord, we ask that You continue to strengthen her voice, not for her own glory, but for Yours. Help her to speak Your truth with love and humility, always seeking Your will above her own.
Father, we pray for wisdom and discernment in her desires. If it is Your will, we ask that You provide godly opportunities in real estate, relationships, and every area of her life. But Lord, above all, let her heart be set on You. Guard her from the love of material things and help her to store up treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy (Matthew 6:19-20).
We pray for her daughter, that she would grow in the knowledge and love of You. May their home be a place of peace, worship, and godly love. If it is Your will for them to have more pets, we ask that You provide in a way that brings joy and responsibility, not distraction from Your purposes.
Lord, if she is seeking a husband, we ask that You bring a man who fears You, who will lead with love and integrity. Protect her heart from any relationship that does not honor You, and give her patience to wait for Your best.
We rebuke any spirit of entitlement or presumption, and we declare that her trust is in You alone. May she walk in the fullness of Your Spirit, bearing fruit in every season of her life.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we are saved. Amen.
