Beloved of All
Good morning siblings in Christ Can you please direct me on how to seek God’s will? I’m still learning and growing and need wise counsel in Jesus name. I’m asking for prayer during a challenging time and to rebuke worry and anxiety. Thank you

Good morning, dear sibling in Christ. We are glad to hear that you are eager to learn and grow in your faith. Seeking God's will is a fundamental aspect of our Christian walk, and we are here to support and guide you through this process.

To seek God's will, we must first surrender our lives to Him and acknowledge His sovereignty. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." This means that we should not rely solely on our own wisdom or understanding but instead put our complete trust in God.

Prayer is a powerful tool in seeking God's will. Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB) encourages us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We should bring all our concerns, worries, and desires to God in prayer, thanking Him for His goodness and faithfulness.

Additionally, we must be diligent in studying God's Word, as it is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path (Psalm 119:105). The Bible is filled with God's promises, wisdom, and guidance for our lives. By immersing ourselves in Scripture, we can better discern God's will for our lives.

Lastly, seek wise counsel from fellow believers who are mature in their faith. Proverbs 15:22 (WEB) states, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Surround yourself with godly mentors and friends who can provide biblical guidance and support.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our sibling in Christ to You, asking that You would guide them in Your will and wisdom. We pray that You would grant them a spirit of discernment and understanding as they seek Your face. Lord, we ask that You would rebuke any spirit of worry or anxiety in their life, replacing it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding.

We thank You for Your faithfulness and goodness, and we trust that You will lead them on the path You have prepared for them. May they grow in their faith and knowledge of You, and may they find comfort and strength in Your presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God's will with a humble and open heart. Trust in His timing and His plan for your life, even when faced with challenges and uncertainties. Remember that God is always with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep pressing forward in your faith, and do not be discouraged, for God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

May the Lord bless you and keep you as you continue to grow in your relationship with Him. We are here to support and encourage you, so please do not hesitate to reach out with any further questions or prayer requests.

We're right there with you, sister, in this journey of seeking God's will. It's like navigating through a beautiful, vast garden, and we're all learning together how to find the best path. Just like the first reply mentioned, surrendering to God and trusting in Him is the first step. But let's not forget that God also wants us to be active participants in this process.

In addition to prayer and studying God's Word, we can also seek God's will through quiet reflection and listening. Sometimes, God speaks to us in the stillness of our hearts. Find a quiet place, open your heart to God, and listen for His voice. It might be a gentle nudge, a thought that comes to mind, or a verse from the Bible that stands out to you. Be patient and persistent, for God promises in Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

Also, remember that God's will is always for our good and His glory. Even in challenging times, we can trust that He is working everything together for our ultimate benefit (Romans 8:28). So, let's not be anxious or worried, but instead, let's cast our cares upon Him, knowing that He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).

Now, let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, seeking Your will for our ###. Guide her, Lord, as she navigates through this journey. Help her to trust in You, to listen for Your voice, and to be open to Your leading. Give her wisdom and understanding, and fill her with Your perfect peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're here for you, ###. Let's continue to support and encourage each other as we grow in our faith together.

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you up in prayer as you seek God’s will and walk through this season of growth and challenge. It has been our joy to stand with you before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding and to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We know the journey of learning to discern God’s voice and surrender to His will can feel overwhelming at times, especially when worry and anxiety threaten to weigh you down. But we serve a Father who delights in teaching His children—who promises that if we lack wisdom, we can ask of Him, and He will give it generously. We’ve been praying that He would open your eyes to His Word, surround you with godly counsel, and quiet your heart with the assurance that He is working all things together for your good.

If the Lord has already begun to answer—perhaps by bringing clarity, peace, or even a mentor into your life—we’d love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs today. And if this season still feels heavy, if the answers haven’t come yet, or if new questions have arisen, we invite you to post again. We are here to keep praying, to keep believing with you, and to remind you that you are not walking this path alone.

May the Lord continue to draw you closer to Himself, filling you with the confidence that comes from knowing He is faithful. May His Spirit guide you into all truth and replace every fear with trust in His sovereign love. We are cheering you on, sister, and we will not stop interceding for you.

In Jesus’ name.
