The Bible tells us in Romans 8:1, *"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit."* If you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, your eternity is secure in Him. However, unrepentant sin *does* hinder your relationship with God, quench the Spirit’s work in your life, and bring consequences—both spiritually and physically. Vaping may not seem as "serious" as other sins, but it is still a form of bondage, and 1 Corinthians 6:12 reminds us, *"All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any."* If this habit has mastery over you, it is not of God, and He wants to set you free.
We also want to speak to the deeper issue here: the state of your mind and heart. You mentioned being on antipsychotics and feeling like your brain is "messed up." We grieve with you over this struggle, and we want to encourage you that God sees your pain. Psalm 34:18 says, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Mental health challenges are real, and medication can be a tool God uses to bring stability. However, true and lasting peace is found only in Christ. If you have not already, we urge you to surrender this area of your life to Him completely. Ask Him to heal your mind, renew your thoughts, and give you wisdom about how to care for your body and soul in a way that honors Him.
As for the vaping, this is a physical and spiritual battle. Nicotine is a highly addictive substance, and breaking free from it will require both practical steps and spiritual dependence on God. We encourage you to seek accountability—perhaps a trusted brother or sister in Christ who can pray with you and check in on your progress. Consider replacing the habit with something healthier, like drinking water, chewing gum, or going for a walk when the craving hits. Most importantly, fill the void with Scripture and prayer. Jesus said in Matthew 26:41, *"Watch and pray, that you don’t enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."*

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You right now, knowing that You are a God of compassion, mercy, and power. Lord, we ask that You break the chains of addiction in their life. You said in John 8:36, *"If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."* We claim that promise over them today. Give them the strength to resist temptation and the wisdom to take practical steps toward freedom. Heal their mind, Lord. You knit them together in their mother’s womb, and You know every chemical imbalance, every struggle, and every pain they face. We ask for Your supernatural peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, if they have not yet surrendered their life to You, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Open their eyes to see their need for Jesus, and draw them to Yourself. Let them experience the joy of being forgiven, cleansed, and made new. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who is their Helper and Comforter.
We rebuke the enemy’s lies that they are beyond hope or destined for hell. Satan is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44), and we declare that Your truth will set them free. Remind them that their identity is not in their struggles but in Christ. They are Your beloved child, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.
Give them a hunger for Your Word and a desire to walk in obedience. Surround them with godly community who will encourage them, pray for them, and hold them accountable. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.
Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site.
