I’m buried…

Elmaemorirdire

Disciple of Prayer
I messed up.
A lot.
And my life is a mess.
I’ve went back to God many times and prayed for wisdom but I haven’t stopped sinning
and sometimes I get these crazy thoughts
my finances are wreck
my health is a wreck
basically everything
I am grateful for the little I have
but I’m tired
and I feel like God gave up on me a long time ago
if you could pray for me
I could use a lot of it
thank you in advance

We hear the deep sorrow and weariness in your words, and our hearts ache for the burden you carry. But let us speak truth into this darkness: God has *not* given up on you. Never. His Word declares in **Romans 5:8 (WEB)**, *"But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."* Even in your lowest moments, His love remains steadfast. The fact that you keep returning to Him—broken, repentant, seeking wisdom—proves His Spirit is still at work in you. That is not abandonment; that is *grace pursuing you*.

You confess that you’ve prayed for wisdom but continue struggling with sin and chaotic thoughts. Let us gently but firmly remind you: wisdom is not just knowledge—it is *obedience*. **James 1:5-8 (WEB)** says, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed. For let that man not think that he will receive anything from the Lord. He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways."* Beloved, repentance must lead to *turning away* from sin, not just sorrow for its consequences. If you keep returning to the same patterns, ask God to break the chains—*and then walk in the freedom He provides*. **1 John 1:9 (WEB)** promises, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* But confession without change is not true repentance.

Your finances and health are in shambles, and the weight feels crushing. Yet even here, God is your Provider and Healer. **Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB)** commands, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Seek Him *first*—not as a last resort, but as your *only* hope. As for your health, **Psalm 147:3 (WEB)** assures us, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* Trust Him to restore what is broken, in His timing and for His glory.

Those "crazy thoughts" you mention—are they temptations, accusations, or despair? **2 Corinthians 10:5 (WEB)** tells us to *"bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."* If they are lies from the enemy, *reject them in Jesus’ name*. If they are convictions from the Holy Spirit, *heed them and repent*. You are not powerless—**1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB)** promises, *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure."*

You say you’re tired, and we understand. But listen closely: *God’s strength is made perfect in your weakness* (**2 Corinthians 12:9**). You don’t have to muster the energy to fix yourself—you only need to surrender. **Matthew 11:28 (WEB)** is Jesus’ invitation to you right now: *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* Not temporary relief, but *true rest*—the kind that comes from laying your mess at His feet and letting Him redeem it.

Now, let us pray over you with the authority of Christ:

*"Heavenly Father, we lift this precious soul before You, broken and weary, yet still reaching for You in the darkness. Lord, we thank You that You do not abandon Your children—even when we stumble, even when we fail repeatedly. Your Word says in **Lamentations 3:22-23 (WEB)**, ‘It is because of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.’* So we ask You to renew this heart today. Break the cycles of sin that ensnare them. Uproot the lies that tell them You’ve given up. Replace their exhaustion with Your strength, their despair with Your hope.

Lord, we rebuke the enemy’s hold over their finances, health, and mind. **James 4:7 (WEB)** says to *‘Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.’* So we command every stronghold of addiction, every spirit of poverty, every sickness and tormenting thought to *flee now in Jesus’ name*. Restore what has been stolen, O God. Provide supernatural wisdom for their finances, divine healing for their body, and clarity for their mind.

Father, they have confessed their struggles—now grant them *true repentance*, the kind that leads to transformation. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit so they may walk in victory, not defeat. Let them know, beyond any doubt, that *You are for them* (**Romans 8:31**). Surround them with godly community to encourage and hold them accountable. And when they are tempted to believe they are beyond Your reach, remind them of the cross—where You proved once and for all that *no one is too far gone*.

We declare **Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB)** over their life: *‘For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,’ says Yahweh, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.’* Let them cling to this promise, Lord. Restore their joy. Redeem their story. And may they rise from this season stronger, wiser, and *fully surrendered* to You.

In the mighty, saving name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Redeemer, we pray. *Amen."*

---
Beloved, you are not defined by your mess—you are *redeemed* by His mercy. **Start today**: Confess your sins *specifically* to God, turn from them, and ask Him to fill you with His Spirit. If you don’t have a Bible-believing church or mentor, seek one out—you were not meant to walk this path alone. And remember: *Every saint has a past; every sinner has a future in Christ.* Your story isn’t over. **He is making all things new** (**Revelation 21:5**). Hold on to Him.

Dear friend, we hear your cry and we're here with you. We know the weight of carrying a mess, feeling stuck in sin, and the exhaustion that comes with it. But remember, God is not a distant judge waiting for you to clean up your act. He's a loving Father who runs towards you when you're broken and lost.

We pray that you find comfort in knowing that God's love for you is not based on your performance, but on His unchanging nature. It's a love that's there even when you're struggling, even when you're making mistakes. We pray that you experience His presence in your life, guiding you, comforting you, and helping you make changes that will bring freedom.

We also pray for wisdom. Not just knowledge, but the kind that leads to obedience. We ask that God gives you the strength to turn away from sin and walk in His ways. We believe that He will help you overcome the temptations and the crazy thoughts that are bothering you.

We lift up your finances and health to God. We ask Him to provide for your needs, to heal your body, and to give you peace of mind. We trust that He will take care of you, just as He promises in His Word.
