Im a Christian turn into an atheist

We hear the pain and anger in your words, and our hearts ache with you as you navigate this deep struggle. It is never easy when someone we care about turns away from faith, especially when their choices bring turmoil into our lives. But we must remember that our battles are not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he will use every opportunity to sow discord, doubt, and bitterness in our hearts.

First, we must address the anger and blame you are directing toward this person. While it is understandable to feel hurt, we cannot allow bitterness to take root in our hearts, for it will only lead to more destruction (Hebrews 12:15). Instead, we are called to forgive, just as Christ forgave us (Colossians 3:13). This does not mean excusing their actions or pretending the pain isn’t real, but it does mean releasing the burden of resentment to God and trusting Him to bring justice in His time (Romans 12:19).

We also want to gently remind you that your faith must stand firm in Christ alone, not in the faith—or lack thereof—of others. Jesus is the only foundation that cannot be shaken (1 Corinthians 3:11). If your relationship with God depends on someone else’s beliefs, it will always be vulnerable to disappointment. But when we anchor ourselves in Him, we find unshakable peace, even in the storm (Isaiah 26:3-4).

Now, let us pray together in the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach the Father and find true healing:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is hurting. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of bitterness and anger that have taken hold. Soften their heart to forgive, not because the other person deserves it, but because You have forgiven us so much. Help them to release this burden to You, trusting that You see their pain and will bring justice in Your perfect way.

Father, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that seek to pull them away from You. We declare that no weapon formed against their faith will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen their relationship with You, Lord. Remind them that their faith is not dependent on anyone else but on the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way.

Lord, we also pray for the one who has turned away from You. Soften their heart, open their eyes to the truth, and draw them back to You. Let them see the emptiness of a life without You and the fullness of joy that comes from walking in Your ways.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved and the only name by which we can come before You. Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. Amen.

Friend, we want to encourage you to focus on your own walk with Christ. Spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers who can support and uplift you. The enemy wants to isolate you, but God calls us to community (Hebrews 10:24-25). Surround yourself with people who will point you to Jesus and remind you of His truth.

Remember, God is not surprised by this situation, and He is still on His throne. He can redeem even the most broken circumstances and use them for His glory (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and do not let the actions of others define your faith. Jesus is enough, and in Him, you will find the strength to endure and the hope to press on.

We're right here with you, standing in the gap, lifting this burden up to Jesus. It's so easy to feel overwhelmed when someone we care about turns away from faith, especially when it affects our lives too. But remember, we're not fighting against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces. The enemy wants to divide, to destroy, but Jesus wants to heal, to unite.

Let's not forget, forgiveness isn't about excusing actions, but about releasing the burden of resentment. It's hard, we know, but it's the path Jesus walked, and He calls us to follow. "Forgive as the Lord forgave you," He said (Colossians 3:13). It's not about them, but about us, about our hearts, about letting go of bitterness before it takes root.

And while we're at it, let's not forget where our faith stands. It stands in Christ alone, not in the faith or lack thereof of others. Jesus is our foundation, our peace, our strength. He's unshakable, and in Him, we find our peace, even in the storm.

So, let's pray. Lord Jesus, we come before You, heavy-hearted but hopeful. We lift this dear one up to You. Break the chains of bitterness and anger, soften their heart to forgive, not because it's easy, but because You've forgiven us so much. Help them to release this burden to You, trusting in Your justice, Your timing.

Rebuke the lies of the enemy, Lord. Strengthen their relationship with You. Remind them, their faith is in You, not in others. Fill them with Your peace, Your presence. And Lord, we pray for the one who's turned away. Soften their heart, open their eyes, draw them back to You.

We ask all this in Jesus' mighty name, the only name by which we are saved. Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer, for Your faithfulness to answer. Amen.

Now, friend, let's focus on our walk with Christ. Spend time in His Word, in prayer, in fellowship. The enemy wants to isolate, but God calls us to community. Surround yourself with people who point you to Jesus, remind you of His truth. Remember, God's not surprised, He's still on His throne. He can redeem, He can use. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, let Jesus be enough. In Him, you'll find the strength to endure, the hope to press on.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us to lift your heart before the Lord. It grieves us deeply to hear how pain and disillusionment have shaken your faith, and we continue to stand with you in prayer, asking God to heal the wounds you’ve described. We pray that He would reveal His love and faithfulness in ways that are unmistakable, drawing you back into the peace and purpose only He can provide.

If in these days you’ve seen even a glimmer of His presence or a softening of your heart, we would be so encouraged to hear it. Your testimony of God’s work could be a light to others walking through similar struggles. If, however, the heaviness remains and the doubts persist, we invite you to share your burden again. We are still here, still praying, still believing that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted.

May the Holy Spirit comfort you, guide you, and remind you of the truth that nothing—not pain, not confusion, not even doubt—can separate you from the love of Christ. We pray this in the powerful and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
