We thank God with you that He kept you out of harm's way, for He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. We hear your cry for mercy, protection from toxicity at work and at home, for financial provision, for healing in your friendship, and for grace, and we join together to bring all of this before the Father.

We are encouraged that you recognize that only God can help you, for Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:7-8. And He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1. When we face toxic and difficult people, His word calls us to pursue peace where possible and to guard our hearts, for in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We also remember that it is because of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23. His grace is sufficient for us, for His power is made perfect in weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9.

We also want to gently encourage you about something we noticed in your request. You spoke of the Lord and of God, which is good, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved. Romans 10:9. So we come to God not on our own merit but through the mercy given to us at the cross, and we can draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and to call upon His name in all your prayers.

Concerning your financial need, we pray not for greed but for God's faithful provision, trusting the promise that my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. And concerning healing in your friendship, whether it is physical healing, emotional healing, or reconciliation, we trust that He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3. And that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. James 5:15.

Father, we thank You for Your mercy that kept our friend out of harm's way and for Your loving kindness that is new every morning. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ for Your mercy and grace to cover every area of need. Lord, place Your hand of protection over this life at work and at home. Where there is toxicity, strife, and oppression, bring Your peace that surpasses understanding, give wisdom to respond with grace and truth, and set healthy boundaries that honor You. Guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus and let no weapon formed against Your child prosper. Provide for every financial need according to Your riches in glory, grant wisdom to steward what You provide, and open doors for honest work and provision. Touch this friendship with Your healing power, bring restoration, forgiveness, and wholeness where there has been hurt, and let Your will be done in that relationship. Pour out Your grace and mercy in abundance, for we know Your grace is sufficient and Your power is made perfect in weakness. Draw this dear one closer to Jesus, assure them of Your presence, and help them to cast all anxiety on You because You care for them. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only hope. Amen.

We give thanks with you that the Lord has kept you out of harm's way, and we join you in blessing Him who has preserved you. It should be our life to bless Him who gave us our life, and when we have a great sense of His great mercy to us we become greatly grateful to our gracious God. He has blessed you just where you needed blessing, and no spiritual blessing comes to any man by chance, for it is written, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

Your cry for mercy and grace is a hopeful sign, for a sound hope in God's mercy feels its need of mercy and knows that it must come as free mercy. All God's mercy to a sinner is gratis. He never sells, He always gives. He acts from no motive in us, but because He delighteth in mercy. When God has purposes of mercy toward His people He often begins with stern discipline and brings them low, that they may look to the great Messenger of the Covenant, the Interpreter between God and man, whose presence to the soul is a sure prophecy of mercy. He can tell you of God's mercy not in words only, but with a sweet sense of mercy shed abroad in your heart.

We pray for your protection from toxicity at work and at home. The Lord is slow to anger and plenteous in mercy. His sword of justice is held back by His own hand of mercy, which cries, sleep, O sword, sleep, for He will have mercy upon sinners. May that same mercy put its hand upon every evil intended against you and keep you under the shadow of His wing. Though your surroundings may be trying, may you be enabled patiently to bear your lot in the recollection of the blessing you have received, remembering that God displays His sovereignty in the very conditions in which He finds us when He looks upon us in mercy.

Concerning your need for provision, we ask the Lord to bless you according to His wisdom. He knows where you are poorest and He blesses there. First seek that He would bless you with spiritual blessings in Christ, for if you have Christ you have all things needful, and He will withhold no good thing from them that walk uprightly. May you enlarge your heart with expectation and open your mouth wide before the blessing is seen, trusting Him to fill it.

For healing for yourself and your friend, we look to Him of whom it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. May the Lord, the great Physician, lay His hand upon you both and bring wholeness according to His perfect will, for His glory and your good.

We pray now for you, that the God of all grace would manifest His tender mercy toward you. O Lord, Thou who art plenteous in mercy, look upon this weary and burdened soul who confesses that only Thou canst help. Show Thy sovereign mercy, grant protection in every place, supply daily bread, and bring healing where there is sickness and distress. Give faith to receive Thy gratis mercy through the shed blood of Thy Son, and turn the heart to love what Thou lovest. Keep this one blessing Thee from the first hour to the last, and at last bring into eternal glory still blessing Thee. We have heard your cry for mercy and we bring it before the Lord with you. You have asked for protection from toxicity at work and at home, for provision in financial need, for healing for your friend, and for grace and mercy in a season where only God can help, and we thank God that you look to Him alone.

Scripture teaches that the mercy of God is great, and it is not only that He releases us from punishment, but that in Christ He makes us righteous and brings us near as His own. His mercy includes both deliverance from evil and the giving of many good things besides. He has divided our life into a time of trial now and a time of crowning to come, and even in this He shows His lovingkindness, calling us to trust Him and to persevere.

So we pray for you now. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask for Your mercy upon this life. Cover and protect from harm and from every toxic word and action at work and at home. Grant wisdom and peace to navigate those places, and set a guard over heart and mind. Provide for financial needs according to Your goodness, and give guidance for work and stewardship. Lay Your healing hand upon this friend, and grant strength and restoration according to Your will. Pour out grace to endure, to forgive as You have forgiven, and to walk in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

Do not grow weary in bringing your needs to God. Continue to seek Him, to hear His Word little by little and keep it in your heart, to show mercy to others as you seek mercy for yourself, and to trust that He who has promised to render to each according to His perfect justice and great mercy will not forsake those who call upon Him through Christ. He is able to save and to keep you, and He hears the prayer offered in faith.

May the Lord grant you protection, provision, healing, and a renewed sense of His presence and grace in the days ahead.
