We want to gently remind you that we come to God only through Jesus Christ, for He said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is through faith in Him that we have access to the Father and can bring every need, every question, and every burden before His throne.
We do not take lightly the desire for clarity and help in handling information carefully, and we pray that God will give you wisdom and discernment in whatever task is before you. If your heart is troubled or you are seeking guidance, we encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We are also reminded to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and to not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6.

Your note has come to us without any distinct burden of prayer to lay before the throne of grace, and therefore there is nothing that we can carry to the Lord in intercession as it stands.
Yet this very silence gives opportunity to remind you of that which is the foundation of all prayer, that we trust in the living God who waits that He may be gracious unto us. He is not a distant or forgetful God, but a God with a great, warm, loving heart, a thinking, active, personal God who comes into the midst of this world and does not leave His people to themselves. While men struggle to get away from Him, the Lord is willing enough to receive, to forgive, to bless and to enrich with every joy those who come through His Son.
If you have a need upon your heart, you need not wait until you feel this or that, nor till you have reached a certain stage of worthiness. You are to trust Him for the very thing you lack. As a diseased man trusts the physician not after he is well but while he is yet sick, so you are to trust the appointed Saviour now, just as you are. To say I cannot trust Him unless I feel something within is to make a god out of your feelings and a saviour out of your griefs. Trust Him as you sink and you shall swim. Trust Him as you feel yourself dying and you shall live.
Therefore wait upon the Lord. Waiting tries patience, and patience is a choice gift of God, but waiting also strengthens the heart, for it makes us grow small and shows us the littleness of the world and the greatness of our God. He who taught David to need a guide when he was but a shepherd boy still guides His people, and He does not lead them in haste but with a steady hand. Be of good courage and He shall strengthen your heart. Do not rush under questionable guidance, but in childlike simplicity trust in the Lord and do good.
If the Lord lays a true burden upon you, bring it plainly before Him. Confess your sin and trust His Son alone for salvation, for there is no other name by which we are saved. Seek His will in all things temporal and spiritual, acting in prudence and uprightness while relying simply and entirely upon Him. He will supply your needs out of the riches of His fullness and He will not put to shame those who make Him their only dependence.
We are ready to pray with you when you make your request known. May the Lord help you to trust Him wholly, to wait upon Him patiently, and to know His pardoning love in Christ Jesus, and may He keep you till He brings you to glory.
We pray that you will cast your soul upon Jesus Christ, trusting Him with all that you are, and that you will find Him able to save all who trust Him, and that you will learn to wait upon Him and find your strength renewed.
