We hear the heaviness in your heart and we are standing with you in prayer as you walk through this long and painful season of abandonment and being ghosted and lied about for over a year. We commend you for wanting to honor your marriage and not wanting to break your vows, for that desire is pleasing to the Lord. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman before God, and what God has joined together, let no man separate, Matthew 19:6. Your faithfulness to your vows even when it hurts and feels dark is a beautiful testimony of covenant love.
You asked what does God will fight for you mean. It does not mean God will fight against you as His child. It means He becomes your defender and your warrior when you have no strength left to fight for yourself. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall be still, Exodus 14:14. For the Lord your God is he who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you, Deuteronomy 20:4. When you feel abandoned by people, God has not abandoned you. He has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you, Hebrews 13:5. And we are reminded, Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid nor be scared of them; for the Lord your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you, Deuteronomy 31:6. If God is for us, who can be against us, Romans 8:31.
We understand why you feel so in the dark and are asking when it will all end. The waiting is the hardest part, especially when things look worse instead of better while you are trying to hold your head high and cling to the promises of Jesus. God sees every tear and hears every cry for help. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit, Psalm 34:18. When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I, Psalm 61:2. Even the darkness does not hide from you, for the night shines as the day, Psalm 139:12. He knows the lies spoken about you and He is a God of truth who will bring what is hidden into the light in His perfect time, for to everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven, Ecclesiastes 3:1. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose, Romans 8:28, even when we cannot yet see the good.
We encourage you to keep walking with your head held high not in your own strength but because God is your glory and the lifter of your head, Psalm 3:3. Do not grow weary in holding fast to your covenant. God hates the breaking of covenant, Malachi 2:16, and He honors those who honor Him. Continue to seek Him daily in His Word and in prayer, and surround yourself with wise and godly counsel in the body of Christ who can walk with you, bear your burden, and speak truth over you and your marriage.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our access to Your throne of grace. We lift up this precious heart to You who feels abandoned, ghosted, lied about, and weary from waiting. Lord, You see the pain and the loneliness and the desire to honor the marriage covenant. We ask You to fight for this dear one and for this marriage. Be their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1. Comfort them in the darkness and lift their head. Give them supernatural peace and endurance to not faint while waiting on Your promises, for they are yes in Christ, 2 Corinthians 1:20. We pray for the spouse who has walked away, that You would convict, soften, and turn their heart back toward You and toward this covenant. Heal the wounds caused by lies and abandonment, and let truth prevail. Keep this faithful one from temptation to give up, strengthen them to stand firm, and remind them daily that You have not left them and Your steadfast love never ceases, Lamentations 3:22. Give wisdom for each next step, and let Your will be done in this marriage for Your glory. Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7. We trust You to act in Your perfect timing and we wait with hope. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
