ill intention biological father and his nasty plots

Your cry for help has been heard, and I thank you for sharing something so painful and frightening. What you have described, being threatened, being made to feel unsafe in your own home, having your belongings taken and your food spoiled, and living with manipulation and gaslighting, is very serious. God sees all that you have endured, and He does not take lightly the harm done to you.

You mentioned that your biological father uses Exodus 20:12 to justify his actions. That command to honor father and mother is holy, but it was never given as permission for a parent to harm a child. Scripture also says fathers should not provoke their children to anger or despair, and it clearly condemns violence and deceit. No one is called to remain in danger in order to honor a parent. Honoring does not mean allowing yourself to be harmed or pretending that sin is not sin. True honor desires truth and repentance, not fear and control.

Please understand that wanting to be safe is right. If your life has been threatened or you fear that harm could be made to look accidental, please seek safety and wise help right away. Talk to a trusted pastor, a mature Christian counselor, and where there is danger to life, contact appropriate authorities or a safe family member who can intervene. Keep a record of what has happened, and do not remain isolated. Turning off a fridge may seem small to others, but in the pattern you describe it is part of a larger effort to unsettle and harm you, and that pattern should be taken seriously by those who can help you set boundaries and find protection.

I will pray for you and for your father as you asked.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, You are the true Father who protects and does not forsake Your children. I lift up this dear one to You who has lived with fear and hurt. Surround them with Your presence, grant them safety, wisdom, peace, and the support of faithful people who will stand with them and help them find protection and healing. Give them courage to set right boundaries and to seek help without shame. Lord, I also lift up their biological father to You. You know his sleeplessness, his mental distress, and the hardness and sin in his heart that has led to threats, stealing, and deception. Bring him to see his sin clearly, grant him godly sorrow that leads to repentance, and lead him to the help he needs, including sound therapy and spiritual counsel. Heal what is sick, restrain what is evil, and do not allow further harm to be done. Let Your justice and Your mercy both be at work. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who bore our sins to the Father not to condemn us but to forgive and restore us, and in whom alone we find salvation. Amen.

Please do not walk through this alone. Reach out this week to a pastor or counselor you trust and to someone who can help ensure your daily safety. If you are in immediate danger, seek help right away. God is your refuge, and He often provides refuge through His people coming alongside you.

Thank you for sharing something so painful and so serious. What you have described, including deliberate attempts to harm you and make it look accidental, stealing, intimidation, and interfering with your food and personal work, is not a small conflict. It is dangerous and wrong, and it is right to bring it into the light and to seek prayer and help.

You mentioned that Exodus 20:12 is sometimes cited toward you. That command to honor father and mother is holy, but it never means that a parent is given permission to harm a child, or that a child must remain without protection or boundaries when his life is threatened. To honor does not mean to excuse or enable sin, and it never requires you to accept abuse or to stay in a place where your life is in danger.

Scripture helps make this clear by showing us who our heavenly Father truly is. Jesus lived in complete harmony with the Father, doing only what the Father does and speaking only what the Father gave Him to speak. When we want to know what the Father is like, we look at Jesus. He who has seen Jesus has seen the Father. And what do we see in Jesus. Love, mercy, healing for the sick, mending of broken lives, compassion for the hurting, and obedience to the Father even at great cost. The works of Jesus testify to the character of the Father, and the Father himself loves those who love His Son and believe that He came from God. Through Jesus we have direct access to the Father in prayer.

That picture is the opposite of what you have experienced. Jesus taught that there is another father whose desires are to steal, to lie, to destroy, and to kill. When a person gives himself to plotting harm, to deception, to gaslighting, and to trying to ruin another person, he is not reflecting the heavenly Father at all. He is following the desires of the enemy. Understanding this distinction is important so you do not confuse the cruelty of your biological father with the nature of God your Father in heaven.

It is good and Christlike that you want prayer for your biological father even while you have been hurt. We will pray for him. A man who cannot sleep, who is mentally unwell, who is driven to harmful plots and deceit, needs more than only counseling. He needs repentance and new life that comes only through Jesus Christ. God has committed all judgment to the Son, and all are called to honor the Son as they honor the Father. No one truly knows the Father except through the Son, and it is the Son who reveals the Father to us. Pray that your father would be brought to see his need, to turn from his sin, to confess it honestly, and to receive the mercy and transformation that God offers in Christ. Pray also that he would receive appropriate professional help for his mental and physical health, with people who can assess him wisely and care for him responsibly.

At the same time, please care for your own safety with equal seriousness. Love for an offender does not mean remaining exposed to murderous intent. If your life has been threatened, seek help immediately from trusted, godly people around you, from a pastor or counselor, and from medical professionals. Where there is danger to life, it is also right to seek protection from the proper authorities. Take practical steps to protect your living space, your food, your belongings, and your personal projects. Do not walk through this alone. Invite mature believers you trust to know what is happening, to check on you regularly, and to help you make wise decisions about boundaries, distance, and where you live.

I am praying for you now to the Father in the name of Jesus. Father, thank You that You are holy and loving, and that You have shown Yourself fully in Your Son. I ask that You keep this dear one safe under Your care. Give clear wisdom, peace that guards heart and mind, and faithful people nearby who will provide protection, counsel, and practical help. Heal the wounds that have come from years of fear, theft, and manipulation. Help this child of Yours to know more and more that You love him because he has loved Jesus and believed that Jesus came from You, and that he can come directly to You in prayer at any time.

And Father, I pray for his biological father. You see his sleeplessness, his sickness of mind, and the sinful plots he has harbored. Bring conviction, bring truth into the light, and bring him to repentance. Draw him to Your Son so that he may know You as Father in truth and be changed. Provide for him the help he needs, both spiritual and medical, and restrain any further harm. Let Your will be done and let Your name be honored in both lives. In the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and Lord, amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer in this very painful and difficult situation with your biological father.

We have been lifting you up before the Lord and asking for His protection and covering over your life. We have prayed that He would guard you from all harm and from every plot intended to hurt you and make it look accidental, that He would expose what is done in secret and keep you safe from cursing, stealing, gaslighting and the sabotage of your personal projects and daily provisions like turning off your fridge. We ask God to surround you with His peace and wisdom and to give you safe boundaries and trusted counsel as you navigate this relationship. We pray Psalm 91:1 and Psalm 121:7 over you and we rest in the truth of Romans 12:19 that vengeance belongs to the Lord.

We have also been praying for your father as you requested. We were moved by your Christlike compassion in asking prayer for him even while you have been mistreated. We pray that the Lord would convict his heart, heal his mind and bring him to true repentance. We pray against every devious and ill intention and ask God to remove the desire to harm, to deceive and to misuse Scripture. Exodus 20:12 calls children to honor father and mother but that command is never a justification for harm, as Ephesians 6:4 reminds fathers not to provoke their children. We pray that God would grant him peaceful sleep as in Psalm 4:8, heal his broken and troubled heart as in Psalm 34:18, and lead him to the help he needs whether through godly counsel, therapy and ultimately through repentance and faith in Christ. We pray Matthew 5:44 over him that God would work in him to turn from darkness to light.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know how God has worked. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We want to keep standing with you for your safety and for your fathers healing and transformation.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.
