We hear your heart in this and we are praying with you right now. We understand how heavy this feels after working so hard for so long, studying since last year, even using every minute including mealtimes to prepare, and then walking out of paper 1 feeling like you did horribly. That exhaustion and sadness and fear about whether you will get an A is very real, and at the same time we rejoice with you that you are sensing what may indeed be the peace of the Father guarding you even in this storm.

The Lord sees your diligence and He knows you did not hold back, you prepared and did your best. Whatever the result, your worth and your future are not defined by one grade or one paper. We are reminded of Matthew 6:26 which says Look at the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they, and Matthew 6:30 reminds us how much more He will clothe and care for you, even more than the beautiful flowers of the field. Your life is held securely in His hands, and even if the grade is not what you hoped, He is still able to give you a good life and a future full of hope, for Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.

We also hear how tired you are and how hard it is to focus for the next paper on Wednesday. Jesus invites you to rest even as you keep being faithful. Matthew 11:28 says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. And Isaiah 40:29 says He gives power to the faint. To him who has no might he increases strength. It is not a lack of faith to feel tired, it is human, and God in His mercy gives both strength to continue and permission to rest in Him. The peace you describe sounds like Philippians 4:6-7 where it says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Keep bringing that fear to Him, that scared feeling you mentioned, and let Him guard your heart.

We love that you want Jesus to do every paper with you, even when you feel you cannot study much more. That is exactly what it means to commit your work to Him. Proverbs 16:3 says Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. And Colossians 3:23 says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. The small amount of studying you have left, done heartily for the Lord and bathed in prayer, is not wasted. God honors faithfulness, not perfection. And 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, so we pray that fear will not rule you on Wednesday but that you will enter that room with a sound mind.

We also hear you wondering about college and whether you should just do business instead. You do not have to figure your whole future out tonight while you are exhausted. James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. God will give you wisdom step by step for what comes after IGCSE, and Romans 8:28 assures us that We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

So we pray together with you now.

Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, and we thank You for this dear one who has labored faithfully and diligently for so long. You have seen every hour of study, every sacrifice, every prayer. We ask You to quiet the fear and sadness with Your perfect peace that surpasses understanding. Lift this burden of anxiety about the grade and remind them that their life is secure in Your hands. Renew their strength where they are faint and weary, give them restful sleep and a clear, focused mind for the paper on Wednesday. Be with them in that exam hall, guide their thoughts, help them recall what they have learned, and let them do their best for Your glory. We commit both papers to You and trust the outcome to Your good will. And Father, we ask for wisdom for the future, whether college or business, that You would lead them in the path You have prepared, and that they would continue to pray and read Your Word and walk closely with Jesus all the days of their life. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We are glad you shared so honestly with us. We hear how much you have carried to get to this point, studying since last year, even using every spare minute to prepare, and how heavy and tired you feel now after paper 1, with another paper coming Wednesday.

It makes sense that you feel torn between that quiet peace you mentioned and also fear and sadness. Both can be true when you are exhausted and the stakes feel so high. You have already done the faithful, diligent work of preparing. Feeling unfocused and worn out now does not mean you failed or that you are not capable for what is ahead.

For these next couple days, try to give your mind and body some recovery while you review. Short, focused blocks of about 25 to 30 minutes, then get up, stretch, drink water, step outside or pray briefly, then rest again can help more than pushing nonstop. And please protect your sleep tonight and tomorrow night, rest will help you think more clearly on Wednesday than cramming through exhaustion. You do not need to decide your whole future about college or business while you are this tired. One exam does not determine the good life God can lead you into.

We are praying for you and for Wednesday's paper.

Father, thank You for this student and for the diligence they have shown. We ask for Your calm to guard them, for real rest tonight, and for clarity and steadiness as they finish this exam. Lead them step by step and remind them You are with them in each paper and beyond. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your trembling and weariness have been laid bare before the Lord, and He who sees in secret hears the sighing of a tired heart. You have labored diligently, redeeming the minutes, studying even as you ate, and now you feel spent and sad and fearful about what shall come. This is no strange thing in the press of duties.

There is a peace which is spoken of in Scripture, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteth in thee. That peace is not the dull quiet of carelessness, nor the outward show of calm when the heart is still storm tossed. The true peace of God passes all understanding and keeps the heart and mind through Christ Jesus. It can live even when duties throng and press upon you on every side. To do the will of Jesus in the place where He has set you, this is rest. When you say you feel perhaps a little peace even in your tiredness, bless the God of peace for it, for He is the restorer and keeper of peace to His children through the blood of the everlasting covenant.

And yet fear has come upon you, fear about a grade, fear about college, fear about your whole life to come. Hear the word of the Lord, Fear not, for I will help thee, saith the Lord. We must labor to get rid of fear as much as possible, for fear is weakening and it dishonors God who has promised to provide. Neither be ye of a doubtful mind, says the Saviour. Your chief concern is to keep your heart with all diligence before God, and He will keep you.

You have remembered rightly that your Father cares for sparrows and clothes the lilies of the field. How much more will He care for you, His child. An examination paper, though it feels so great today, is in His hands. Whether He gives you an A or whether He ordains another result, your life is not measured by that letter. Your life is hid with Christ in God, and He ordains peace, even eternal peace, for those who trust Him. Use the little strength that remains for the paper on Wednesday with a calm mind. Do what you can in the time left, and then commit the outcome to Him. Take needful rest, for the Lord gives sleep to His beloved, and a wearied body cannot well serve a troubled mind.

Do not in this hour of exhaustion decide that you cannot stand for college or that you must turn another way. Such great turnings should not be made when the soul is faint. Wait upon the Lord, be faithful in the next duty, and let tomorrow bring its own counsel. If failure should come, even that may have Divine instruction in it and be the preface to future good, for the Lord often trains His scholars so. Your lack is not beyond His help. What breaks us is unbelief, what keeps us is simple trust in Christ.

Continue as you have purposed, to pray and to read the Bible, and to ask that Jesus may go with you into every paper. He has been with you in the preparation, He will be with you in the examination room, and He will be with you afterwards, whatever the result shall be.

We will pray for you, that the Lord will quiet your heart, renew your strength, grant you clarity of mind on Wednesday, and give you that perfect peace which lives in the midst of this dark world of sin because the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. May He keep your heart and mind, and may you find that to trust Him fully is to be at rest.

May the God of peace be with you and make you to lie down in His perfect peace, now and in all that is to come.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your words show how tired and burdened you feel right now, and how honestly you are bringing that weariness to the Father. It is good that you are praying and staying in the Bible even while you feel sad and stretched thin. That quiet sense of peace you described even in the middle of fear is often how God steadies a heart that is trusting Him.

It is understandable to feel anxious after a hard paper, especially when you have worked so faithfully for so long. You prepared since last year, you were strict with your time, even studying while eating, and you did your best. God sees that diligence. The anxiety about the future, about whether you will get an A, about college and what life will look like if the grade is not what you hoped, is a heavy weight. Scripture speaks directly to that weight when it reminds us that the Father cares for the sparrows and clothes the flowers, and how much more He cares for you. He does not call you to carry tomorrow's fear today, but to cast your cares on Him and walk faithfully in what is before you.

For the paper on Wednesday, try to give your mind and body some mercy. You cannot study well when you are exhausted. Rest, eat, sleep, and pray are not wasted time. They help you focus again. Do what you can in the little time left with calm, short periods of review rather than trying to make every minute count to the point of collapse. Ask Jesus to be with you in the exam room, to give you clarity and calm, and leave the result in His hands. Your worth and your future are not decided by one grade. Whether He leads you to college or to business or another path, a faithful life with Christ can still be a good and fruitful life.

I am praying for you, that the Lord will give you rest tonight, peace that guards your heart, strength to prepare for Wednesday with a clear mind, and trust that whatever the result, He will care for you and guide your steps. Keep bringing every paper and every worry to Jesus. He is with you, He sees your labor, and He will not leave you.
