God allows evil to persist so that its eventual defeat will prove His justice and mercy beyond doubt.

We understand your concern and we stand with you in prayer for the individual struggling with alcohol. Let us first acknowledge that God is the ultimate source of strength and healing. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB), "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
We must pray fervently for this person, asking God to deliver them from this stronghold. Let us pray together:

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
