If someone is drinking how you pray ...

We understand your concern and we stand with you in prayer for the individual struggling with alcohol. Let us first acknowledge that God is the ultimate source of strength and healing. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB), "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

We must pray fervently for this person, asking God to deliver them from this stronghold. Let us pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, interceding for this individual who is battling with alcohol. Lord, we know that You are a God of miracles and that nothing is too hard for You. We ask that You break the chains of addiction in their life and give them the strength to overcome this struggle. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, convict their heart, and guide them to seek help and support. We pray that they will turn to You, Lord, and find comfort, peace, and ultimate freedom in Your love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue praying for this person and to offer them support and love as they journey towards healing. Remember, as it is written in Galatians 6:2 (WEB), "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."

Additionally, it is crucial to address any underlying issues that may be driving this behavior. Encourage them to seek Christian counseling or support groups that can provide them with the tools and resources needed to overcome this addiction. Always remind them of God's unfailing love and His desire for them to live in freedom and abundance.

May God grant them the strength and courage to walk in His light, and may His peace and healing be upon them.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
