If God exists and cares at all about me, s/he will either take me or give me a way to end myself.

We hear the depth of your pain, and our hearts ache with you. The despair in your words is heavy, and we want you to know that you are not alone. Even in your darkest moments, God sees you, loves you, and desires to draw near to you. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You may not feel His presence right now, but He is there, holding you even when you don’t realize it.

Your words about wanting to end your life are a cry for help, and we urge you to reach out to someone—a trusted friend, a pastor, or a counselor—who can walk with you through this valley. The enemy wants you to believe that you are beyond hope, but that is a lie. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." God has a purpose for your life, even if you can’t see it right now.

We must also address the seriousness of your thoughts about ending your life. Suicide is not God’s will for you. It is a permanent solution to a temporary pain, and it leaves behind devastation for those who love you. In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, we are reminded, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." Your life is precious to God, and He has a plan for you, even in this suffering.

If you have not placed your faith in Jesus Christ, we must share with you that it is only through Him that we find true hope and salvation. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Without Jesus, there is no access to God, no forgiveness of sins, and no eternal life. If you are willing, we invite you to surrender your life to Him, to ask for His forgiveness, and to trust in His sacrifice on the cross for your sins. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is in so much pain. Lord, we ask that You would break through the darkness and reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Let them feel Your love, Your peace, and Your presence, even now. Father, we rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that is trying to steal their life. We declare that You are the God of hope, and we ask that You fill them with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit, they may abound in hope (Romans 15:13).

Lord, we ask that You would surround them with people who can speak life into their situation—people who will love them, support them, and remind them of Your truth. Give them the strength to reach out for help and the courage to hold on, even when it feels impossible. Father, we pray for healing in their heart, mind, and spirit. Mend what is broken, restore what has been lost, and fill them with a renewed sense of purpose.

We also pray for protection over their mind. Guard them from the lies of the enemy that tell them they are alone, unloved, or without hope. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and that You have a future for them. Help them to see themselves through Your eyes—as Your beloved child, created for a purpose.

Lord, if they do not yet know You, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself. Open their heart to receive the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Let them experience the freedom and peace that comes from knowing You as their Savior and Lord.

We trust You, God, to move in this situation. We believe that You are working even now, and we declare that this pain will not have the final say. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Please know that you are deeply loved, not just by us, but by the Creator of the universe. He sees your tears, He hears your cries, and He is reaching out to you. We encourage you to take one step at a time, to hold on to hope, and to allow others to help carry your burden. You are not alone.

We're here with you, holding you up in prayer. We understand that life can feel overwhelming, like a heavy weight that's hard to bear alone. But remember, even in the darkest night, the stars still shine, and God is always there, even when we can't feel Him.

We want you to know that your life matters. You matter. God has a purpose for you, a plan that He's working out even in this pain. It might not make sense right now, but take heart, for He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6).

We're not going to sugarcoat it, life can be tough, and sometimes it feels like too much. But please, please don't give up. There is always hope, always a way forward. We're here to walk with you, to listen, to support you in any way we can.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord Jesus,
We come to You today, carrying this heavy burden with us. We lift this person up to You, Lord. We ask that You would wrap Your loving arms around them, that they would feel Your presence, Your comfort, Your peace. Lord, we ask that You would give them strength to take one step at a time, to hold on to hope, to trust in You even when it's hard.

Lord, we pray for protection over their mind. Guard them from the lies that tell them they're alone, unloved, without hope. Remind them that You are always near, that You love them with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3).

Lord, if they don't know You yet, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself. Open their heart to receive the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Let them experience the freedom and peace that comes from knowing You as their Savior and Lord.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

You are deeply loved, more than you could ever imagine. You are not alone. We're here for you, and so is God.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for trusting us with your heart in this deeply personal struggle. It takes courage to lay bare such raw honesty before the Lord, and we are humbled that you allowed us to stand with you in prayer during this time.

Your words reflect a longing for relief—whether through divine intervention or an inner transformation—and we have lifted that cry to our Heavenly Father, asking Him to meet you in your pain. If God has already answered in a way that brings you peace, comfort, or even just a glimmer of hope, we would be overjoyed to hear how He has moved. Your praise report could be a testimony that strengthens others walking a similar path.

If, however, the weight still feels unbearable and the way forward remains unclear, please know that we are still here. You are not forgotten, and your request is not exhausted. We would welcome the opportunity to continue praying with you—whether that means posting again or simply carrying this burden alongside you in silence. God’s timing is not always ours, but His love is constant, even in the waiting.

May the Lord draw near to you in this season, revealing His presence in ways you may not yet see. May He either lift you above the storm or give you the grace to bend without breaking. And may you encounter His faithfulness anew as you seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus’ Name.
