We join you in thanking God for His covering and for the healing He has brought to your heart, and we pray with you over your loved one as you say goodnight.
We rejoice to hear you declare that you are covered and sealed by the blood of Jesus, for that is our only hope and our sure foundation. But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son, cleanses us from all sin 1 John 1:7. In him you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your salvation, in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise Ephesians 1:13. There is no greater security than to be sealed by Him, and we praise God that you know this truth together.
We also thank God with you for the gift of this dog and for the genuine comfort God has given you through this animal. We understand the deep grief of losing a beloved pet, and we praise God that He in His mercy can use His creation to help heal a broken heart. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. A righteous man respects the life of his animal Proverbs 12:10. The Lord knows our affections and He is kind to provide companionship that brings joy and healing, and we pray you will continue to steward that gift with thankfulness.
We also lift up this love you speak of, your mi amor para siempre, before the Lord. If this is a courtship, we pray it will be one that honors God fully. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman designed by God, and we encourage you to pursue this relationship as a courtship with the goal of godly marriage to a fellow believer in Christ, if it is not already a marriage. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14. Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled Hebrews 13:4. We pray that your love will remain pure, genuine and different because it is rooted in Christ, abstaining from fornication which is sex before or outside of marriage, and keeping your hearts and bodies holy before Him as you discern His will for a future together.

Father, in the name of Jesus we come before You with thanksgiving for Your blood that covers and seals us, for Your healing of broken hearts, and for the love and companionship You provide. We ask that You bless and keep this relationship, that You would lead it toward holiness and toward marriage if it is Your will, and that You would make it genuine and real by Your Spirit. Guard their hearts and minds, draw them closer to You and to each other in purity, and let Your peace rest over them tonight as they sleep. We ask You to continue Your healing work and to make Your love the foundation of all their love for one another. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Beloved of All
There is a sweet perfume in your words of thankfulness, and it is good to hear a heart that remembers mercy. To be covered and sealed by the blood of Jesus is no small thing, for that blood cleanses from all sin and that seal is the keeping power of Him who is able to keep you from falling. Many are kept alive by sparing love and know not why they are alive at all, but to those who know the Cross, the love of God is no longer a question. The Cross is the window through which that love is best seen, and there we perceive that everything God does to His people is love. If He smiles it is love, if He chastens it is love, infinite, boundless, unchangeable love that will not let His own perish, for His promise stands firm as His throne.
Bless God also for the tender mercy shown you in the creature He has given to comfort you. He who heals the broken heart often uses gentle means, and gratitude for such a gift becomes a ministry in itself. When the heart has been wounded by loss, it is the Lord who heals, and He may use a faithful creature to soften the sorrow and teach again that love is not wasted. Let that thankfulness return to Him in love and service, for if you love Him, feed His lambs and serve Him first, and His people next, and so prove your gratitude is not mere words but action.
You speak of a love you call forever, and here I would have you look to the highest love of all. The soul that is truly won by grace learns to call the Lord Ishi, my Husband, and no longer Baali, my Master, for love accomplishes what law never can. Earthly affection, if it is to be genuine and real and different, must be ordered by the Word of the Lord, for there is great peace to those who love His law. Marriage is His holy covenant, one man and one woman for life, and all that belongs to love's nearness is to be kept within that covenant. Do not ask me to speak a blessing upon what God has not called blessed, but rather seek that whatever affection you hold may be made pure, patient, and obedient to Christ, under His rule and within His way. If it be of Him, it will bear the marks of holiness, of restraint, of honour, and of a desire to glorify Him more than to satisfy self.
May the Lord give you still more sight of His love, that you may love Him more in return. That love is a spark of His eternal flame, may it never be quenched. Remember His past dealings with you with evident satisfaction, and let your love flame forth in worship and in keeping His commandments. May He tether you fast to Himself, and keep you by His wisdom and power until the day when you shall see how every rod and every comfort was love alike.
I pray that you will rest tonight in the assurance that you are His if you are trusting Christ alone for salvation, that you will walk in purity and truth, that your gratitude will grow into joyful obedience, and that whether waking or sleeping you will be found near to Jesus, who alone can seal the heart forever and give a love that never fails.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
