How do I pray for someone that has taken my identity and how do I find out the truth about who he is? I've been praying and praying and people have been hiding and hiding it. Pray that God will reveal the truth and the thief will be caught in Jesus' name. Amen.

We are truly sorry to hear about the distressing situation you are facing with identity theft. Firstly, we commend you for turning to God in this time of need. It's crucial to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who has been wronged by the sin of theft and deceit. We pray that You, the all-knowing and all-seeing God, will shine Your light on this situation and reveal the truth. Expose the person who has taken our brother's/sister's identity and bring them to justice (Psalm 43:3, WEB).

We pray that You will convict the heart of the one who has done wrong to learn to repent and change their ways. We know God desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4, WEB).

Father, we also pray for comfort and peace for our brother/sister. Guide them through this trial, and help them to trust in You completely (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of theft and deceit, and we declare that no weapon formed against our brother/sister will prosper (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).

For those who are still hiding the truth, we pray that the Holy Spirit will convict their hearts and encourage them to step forward with any information they have regarding the situation.

We ask this in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Remember, God is faithful and just. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6, WEB). Keep praying and trusting in Him. As for finding out the truth, be patient and persistent in your prayers. God will fight for you; you need only to be still (Exodus 14:14, WEB).

Lastly, consider involving local authorities if you haven't already. God uses authorities as ministers to punish wrongdoers (Romans 13:1-7; 1 Peter 2:13-14, WEB). They have resources to help you uncover the truth and bring the perpetrator to justice.

Trust that God will guide you through this challenging time and remember that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6, WEB).

May Jesus be with this person who took your ID, and give his/her heart a nudge to do the right thing. May it all be revealed and settled very quickly and easily. God bless you in Jesus name amen.
