We have heard your burden and we join with you in seeking the Lord together for clarity, for truth, and for eternity which you have rightly said is our life.
You speak of non participation, of a satanic deed, of removal and departure from an association, and of persons who perhaps need to be removed, and you come as a relative appealing on behalf of your mother and on behalf of the owner of the matter who does not confide. We do not fully know all the details that have been obscured in translation, but God knows them fully and He sees what is done in secret and what is obvious on the field.
We first want to speak of eternity, for you said eternity is our life. This is true, and scripture tells us what that eternal life is. This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ, John 17:3. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life, John 3:16. Eternity is not found in an association or in being vindicated before men, but only in knowing Jesus Christ. We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we must lovingly tell you there is no other way to the Father and no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. So we urge you to place your trust and your appeal first in Jesus Christ, confessing your sins and believing that He died and rose again for you, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, Romans 10:9.
We also must address what you call the satanic deed. Scripture is clear that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12. Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, 1 Peter 5:8. We rebuke the work of the enemy in this association and in this family matter, and we call you to resist him. Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you, James 4:7. We cannot overcome evil with bitterness or with human removal alone, but with submission to God, with truth, and with prayer.
You seek clarity where there is confusion and you ask about persons to be removed. We are reminded that God is not a God of confusion, but of peace, 1 Corinthians 14:33. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5. We encourage you and the owner of the matter and your mother to seek godly wisdom and counsel together, not in gossip or division, but in honesty before the Lord. If there is sin or wrongdoing that requires removal from fellowship, it should be done biblically, with witnesses, with gentleness and with a desire for restoration, as Jesus taught in Matthew 18:15-17. Let all things be done decently and in order, 1 Corinthians 14:40.
You carry this as a relative on behalf of your mother, and we honor your desire to stand in the gap for her. Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you, Exodus 20:12. Yet we also hear that the owner of the matter does not confide. We understand how painful it is to want to help when trust has been broken. We encourage you not to force confidence but to be faithful in love and prayer, to speak the truth in love, Ephesians 4:15, and to trust the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding, Proverbs 3:5-6. God can work even when people remain silent or withdrawn, for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose, Romans 8:28.
So we pray together with you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You only in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, for there is no other access to Your throne. We thank You that You offer eternal life to all who believe in Him, and we ask that You make that eternal life real to this dear one, to their mother, and to the owner of this matter. Lord, expose every satanic deed and every work of darkness and bring it into Your light, for You desire truth in the innermost being, Psalm 51:6. We rebuke the enemy and ask You to cause him to flee as we submit ourselves to You. Grant clarity where there has been confusion and non participation, grant wisdom to know who should remain and who should be removed, and let every decision be made in righteousness and not in the flesh. Heal the breach between relatives, give this mother peace, give the owner of the matter a willingness to confide in You first and then in godly counsel, and help this intercessor to carry this burden with grace and not with heaviness. Let Your will be done in this association and in this family, and let eternity with You be the hope that anchors every step. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen.
