I’m not a new Christian. I’ve just never been a very good one. But still my life is full of wonderful things. I am blessed. This past year I have been learning to incorporate God into my life a little more each day. Leaning on Him instead of me has been a real struggle, but I let go some each day and I’m learning to talk to Him on a more regular basis. Since I have been allowing him to come into my life more with prayer, reading Christian material, and cutting back on things and thoughts that I know He doesn’t want in my life I have been feeling an internal struggle. I need prayers for guidance and willpower.

I also need prayer for an attitude adjustment or attitude lifting. I have a job, great family, and everything I need and even most wants. But still I feel incomplete.

Even though I have a job I yearn for something more challenging. I love being OUT of a comfort zone. I love to learn new things and that hasn’t been happening at my job. My days have become almost cookie cutter. I spend most of my days at work and would like to enjoy the place where I spend most of time. My bosses are wonderful. I love my schedule. I love a lot of the perks the company provides. Please pray that I get a new challenge in a new department that will get my creative juices flowing. Being able to use my mind to solve problems makes me so happy. I miss that. Please God bring that back into my life and give me the energy to see it through.

Father you said a broken spirit and a contrite heart you will not despise. I pray that you would lead this heart by your Holy Spirit into all truth and righteousness. Father, you said if we love you, we will obey your commandments. I pray that you would help her to lead a life of obedience to your word that brings glory to your name. You said that we can do all things through Christ that strengthens us. Father. Although there are various spiritual material out there. Absolutely nothing compares to the perfect word of God. The Bible is the most vital book any believer can ever read. Our ability to navigate life on a daily basis. Is directly tied to the Bible. Father you said it is impossible to please you without faith. And faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Not only does the Bible strengthen our faith as believers. It renews our minds. Giving us wisdom and guidance on how to live a life of obedience and victory. It reveals the promises of God to the believer. You suggested us to meditate on your word day and night. I pray as she reads that she would be strengthened and transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus name I pray, Amen
