We are glad to hear that you are seeking forgiveness from God. The Bible tells us in First John 1:9, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God and seek his forgiveness. In Acts 4:12 it states Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We join with you in prayer and may this prayer be a blessing to you.
Dear Lord,
We come before You, lifting up this person who has asked for Your forgiveness. We confess that we all fall short of Your glory and are in need of Your mercy and grace. Thank You for Your promise that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
We pray that this person may experience Your forgiveness and the peace that comes with it. We ask that You would help them to walk in Your ways and to live a life that is pleasing to You. Guide them by Your Holy Spirit and give them the strength to resist temptation and to follow Your path. May they realize the power of praying in Jesus Christ name, as there is no other name by which we can be saved.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
