I would like to request that you pray for me and my boyfriend. We plan on getting married and currently we are in ###. We are here because he is doing a medical residency program, however we hope to be able to move to the USA (I am American, he is Mexican) OR to a nicer part of Mexico. Neither of us are happy in ### and we want to live somewhere where we both feel and ARE safe. Also, a place where I can drive and we can both be happy. We both have been robbed here multiple times and he was recently held at gunpoint & robbed this past weekend, and the person even attempted to shoot him as he broke free and ran away. Fortunately, the person had bad aim. We hope that once his program is done that God blesses us to live somewhere nice and safe. Somewhere where we can be happy and not be afraid. Mexico has many beautiful places that are safe, or even a nice place in the USA. He has been told of a possibility of working at the Mayo Clinic in ### so if God allows, that maybe in ### years we could go there, or some other amazing opportunity will present itself in the next year or two where he can do a fellowship. Obviously, we want God to protect us and bless us whether his career takes us to the USA or within Mexico. Thank you.
