Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s relationship with His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). It is meant to be a lifelong commitment, entered into with purity, wisdom, and godly intention. If your past relationship with this man involved sexual intimacy outside of marriage, we must call that what Scripture calls it: fornication.
