Ask The Father for forgiveness in Jesus name and though your sins are as scarlet he will make them as white as wool.
Ask in prayer for the Holy Spirit and it is His will that you receive him, and he will guide and protect you.
I have learned the only way to defeat the powers of darkness is with scriptural knowledge, just as Jesus did with the devil when the devil took him up a high mountain. Jesus always answered with verses from scripture when he was tempted by the devil.
