Disciple of Prayer
I would appreciate prayers for my husband ###. Will you please pray God will touch ###'s eyes and improve his vision so that he can pass a test that he needs to pass so that he can continue to keep his job. His income is our family's only income and we need and depend on it to pay our dr bills, lot rent, power bill, buy groceries and gas and pay our insurances along with all the other bills that hit us each month. Thank you we appreciate each prayer.

I pray that the Lord will bless, guide, heal, and sustain ### both in all things. In Jesus' name. God bless you both.

"Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you healed me." (Psalm 30:2)

Lord, look upon us with eyes of mercy. May Your healing Spirit rest upon us. It is through Your power that we were created. Since You created us from nothing, You can certainly recreate us. Fill us with the healing power of Your Spirit. May Your life-giving powers flow into every cell of our bodies and into the depths of our souls. Mend what is broken. Cast out anything that should not be within us. Rebuild our brokenness. Restore our strength for service in Your Kingdom. Touch our souls with Your compassion for others. Touch our hearts with Your courage and infinite love for all. Touch our minds with Your wisdom, that our mouths may always proclaim Your praise. Teach us to reach out to You in my need, and help us to lead others to You by our example. Most loving Heart of Jesus, bring our health in body and spirit that we may serve You with all our strength. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen

Jesus never said to "pray for the sick". Jesus said to heal the sick.

Matthew 10:8Living Bible (TLB)

8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure the lepers, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received!

John 14:12-14Living Bible (TLB)

12-13 “In solemn truth I tell you, anyone believing in me shall do the same miracles I have done, and even greater ones, because I am going to be with the Father.

Mark 16:17-18King James Version (KJV)

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Jesus told "believers" to "do" something about the sick and dying. He told believers to heal the sick and raise the dead. Even if we do not see anything happen, Jesus told us to go lay hands on the sick.

Here is a sample "prayer"

In the name of Jesus, I speak to the interstitial lung disease in this body and command it to leave this body, now, and never return. In the name of Jesus, I declare and I decree this body shall now be free of all works of the devil. I bless this body with the life of God. Thank you Jesus.

Our job as believers is to lay hands on sick people and speak in Jesus name the same things Jesus did. It is the Holy Spirit's job to take it from there. We do our part, the Holy Spirit does His part. We do not need to see things "happen" immediately, we just need to do our part.

Here is a great teaching by Andrew Wommack about how God wants you well.

Audio Teachings

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
