Beloved of All
At times I feel so broken and beyond repair. I ask the Lord in Jesus name for healing. I still question whether or not I should have “stuck in there” with the previous abusive employer. The question stems from the problems I’m currently facing in the aftermath such as low funds, insecurity and lacking self-confidence after years of “you’re incapable of doing this job”, “we don’t have confidence in you”, continued humiliation and being SHOWN (by egregious actions) and told that I wasn’t a valued part of the so-called “team”. Prior to resigning, I was told by a cowardly supervisor to vindicate myself. They weren’t going to work because I had already spoken up about the various issues and was then branded a “troublemaker” who needs to be made so miserable at work that he or she would have no other choice but to quit on their own. Which I DID. They didn’t expect that I would make such a bold move. After you’ve done all you can you just stand.

We hear your pain, and we stand with you in this season of brokenness, lifting your heart to the Lord who sees every wound, every injustice, and every moment of doubt. You are not beyond repair—you are a child of the Most High God, and He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). The abuse you endured was not of God, and the lies spoken over you—"you're incapable," "we don't have confidence in you"—were weapons of the enemy meant to steal your identity in Christ. But we declare over you now: You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), equipped with gifts and purpose, and no employer or supervisor has the authority to define your worth.

The question of whether you should have "stuck it out" is heavy, but Scripture is clear that we are not called to endure abuse or oppression. You did the right thing by leaving an environment that sought to break you. The enemy would love for you to carry shame for walking away, but we rebuke that lie in Jesus' name. You stood when it was time to stand (Ephesians 6:13), and that took courage. The financial struggles and insecurity you face now are real, but they are not your final story. God is your provider (Philippians 4:19), and He will open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). We pray for divine opportunities, favor in interviews, and supernatural provision to meet every need.

The humiliation and gaslighting you endured were tactics to erode your confidence, but we declare that your confidence is being restored in Christ. The One who called you is faithful (1 Thessalonians 5:24), and He will complete the good work He began in you (Philippians 1:6). You are not a "troublemaker"—you are a truth-teller, and God honors those who stand for righteousness (Matthew 5:10). The supervisor who demanded you "vindicate yourself" while refusing to address the issues was a coward, but God is your vindicator (Romans 12:19). He sees the injustice, and He will repay.

We also want to gently address the language of your prayer. You mentioned asking "the Lord in Jesus' name," and we praise God that you are coming to Him through Christ. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6), and it is only through Jesus' sacrifice that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not already, we encourage you to make sure your faith is firmly rooted in Jesus as your Lord and Savior—confessing Him not just in prayer, but as the foundation of your life (Romans 10:9-10). He is the One who heals, restores, and redeems.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up every wound, every doubt, and every lie that has been spoken over them. Lord, You are the God who sees, and You have collected every tear in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). We ask for Your healing touch to mend what has been broken and for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Father, we rebuke the spirit of shame and insecurity that has tried to take root. Your Word says that those who trust in You will not be put to shame (Isaiah 54:4), so we declare that truth over them now.

Lord, we pray for provision—open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and let them see Your faithfulness in tangible ways. Restore their confidence, Father. Remind them that they are Your handiwork, created for good works (Ephesians 2:10), and that their worth is found in You alone. We ask for divine connections, mentors, and encouragers to come alongside them in this season.

Father, we also pray for justice. You are a God who executes justice for the oppressed (Psalm 103:6), and we ask that You would bring accountability to those who mistreated them. Let Your light expose any darkness in that workplace, and let Your mercy lead them to repentance. For our brother/sister, we pray that You would turn this pain into purpose. Use their story to encourage others who have faced similar abuse, and let their testimony bring glory to Your name.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw them closer to You in this season. Let them experience Your presence in a fresh way, and let their identity be rooted in who You say they are—not in the lies of the enemy or the words of their abusers. We thank You for Your faithfulness, and we trust You to complete the good work You have started in them. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

You are not alone in this. The same God who parted the Red Sea, who raised Jesus from the dead, and who calms the storms is fighting for you. Keep standing on His promises, and watch how He turns your ashes into beauty (Isaiah 61:3). If you need practical steps, consider seeking godly counsel—whether through a pastor, a Christian therapist, or a trusted mentor—to help you process this season. You are valued, you are loved, and your future is bright in Christ.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want you to know how deeply we’ve carried your pain before the Lord these past days. Your honesty about feeling broken and beyond repair touched our hearts, and we’ve asked God to meet you in that very place of vulnerability. The weight of those words—“you’re incapable,” “we don’t have confidence in you,” the humiliation, the erasure of your value—we’ve prayed against every lie they planted in your soul. We’ve asked Jesus to uproot them with His truth, to remind you that your worth isn’t earned through a job or a supervisor’s approval, but given freely by the One who calls you His own.

We’ve also lifted up the question that lingers: whether you should have stayed. It’s so hard when the consequences of leaving—financial strain, insecurity, the echoes of old wounds—feel heavier than the abuse itself. We’ve asked God to give you clarity, not just about the past, but about how He’s leading you now. You stood up when others wanted you to crumble, and that courage didn’t go unnoticed by Heaven. We’ve prayed for the Lord to vindicate you in ways far greater than a cowardly supervisor’s empty words ever could.

If God has begun to heal those broken places or provided even a glimmer of hope in your circumstances, we’d be so encouraged to hear it. Your praise report could be a balm to others walking the same road. But if the weight still feels unbearable, or if new struggles have surfaced, don’t hesitate to share them again. We’re not walking away from this prayer. We’ll keep standing with you, asking God to restore what was stolen, to rebuild your confidence, and to lead you into the purpose He’s prepared for you—one where you’re valued, not just tolerated.

May the Lord wrap you in His peace as you press into Him. May He silence the voices of the past with His own, reminding you that you are seen, you are loved, and you are never beyond His repair. In Jesus’ Name we continue to pray.
