Rejoicing with you in how the Lord has already answered prayer by making one of those trusted caregivers available again, and giving Him all the praise and honor for it is right. It is good to thank Jesus openly when He provides, and to keep asking Him for what is still needed.

Praying now that the Lord will open the way for that caregiver to have even more time with your son, and that He will quickly provide other godly, gentle, dedicated and trustworthy caregivers who will truly bring out the best in him. Asking that your son will connect well with each of them, that there will be mutual trust and a real bond, just as Scripture says in Proverbs 27:17 that as iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. Praying also for favor and for wisdom and knowledge for you and for every member of his team, his siblings, friends and advocates, as you go into the renewal meetings, that the services he needs would be approved fully and without delay or reduction, and that where more is needed the Lord would grant restoration and even increase. Last year He showed He can restore what was threatened, and nothing is impossible for Him.

Your declaration that by His stripes your son is healed rests on a sure foundation. The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ brings healing for the spirit and also for the body, and we can trust Him for both. When He suffered, His body was broken for us, and as we remember that suffering by faith we can receive what His suffering secured. Scripture shows that Jesus healed in different ways. At times He spoke a word and a child was healed at a distance, as with the nobleman's son, showing His authority is not limited by place. At other times healing came gradually, and in fact only one gradual healing is recorded in His earthly ministry, which reminds us that His ways are not always the same. Much about healing we do not fully understand, and we do not always know why some are healed instantly and others over time, but every true healing is from God. Even the natural processes of recovery in the body are processes He created, so whether healing comes in a moment or through a slower work, it is still divine. We can trust Him and keep believing while leaving the timing and manner in His hands.

That trust is anchored in who Jesus is. He is the Son of David, truly man and the promised Messiah who would sit on David's throne, and He is also the Son of God, truly God. At His baptism the Father spoke from heaven and said this is His beloved Son in whom He is well pleased, and by His resurrection He was declared to be the Son of God with power. To believe on the Son of God is to have life in His name, and the Father has committed all judgment to the Son so that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. If we have the Son we have the Father also, and it is only through Him that we come to the Father. The story of Abraham being asked to offer his son, his only son whom he loved, pictures this same love, for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son for us. Knowing how a father loves his son helps us glimpse how deeply the heavenly Father loves us and loves your son.

Jesus also has authority in every realm. The Gospels show His power over sickness and infirmity, over the physical world, and over evil spirits who themselves confessed He is the Son of God. That same Jesus is able to keep and guard your son.

So praying that the precious blood of Jesus Christ would cover your son, his services, his home and all who care for him, that darkness would have no entrance, that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and that the Lord would surround your family with His peace and unity as a shield. Asking that His angels would watch over your son, your home and all your surroundings day and night, and that these renewed services would become a channel of breakthrough, favor, restoration and victory in your son's life, all for the glory of Jesus, in whose name we pray, Amen.
