Adonai Jehovah Shaphat...the Lord God Who Judges...Abba...
Father, I confess that being in security, I have found often the property of the homeless. Sometimes I turned it in to Lost and Found, often I threw it out because it was secreted on private property where prior permission wasn't given first. Father, where I sinned by robbing a man or woman of their own goods through overzealousness, I ask forgiveness. On the other hand, **I never directly took goods, EVER, from a homeless man or woman if they had them on their person**--and I've heard of rumors, I think, where robbery was done directly to homeless persons. Father, I pray that You lead police and security to repentance in this area; and, most of all, lead The Powers That Be to repentance over persecuting the homeless. It's ridiculous, Father: we coddle criminal narcissist or psychopath billionaires in the boardroom and sell a man for a pair of sandals!! Father, PLEASE put an end to this kind of socioeconomic injustice in the United States: we've become just as harsh, if not harsher, than ancient Israel in this regard.
In the Name of Jesus, Who HIMSELF was homeless,
AMEN
