I want to turn to a life of god but dont know how

It's not about what you have done, but it's about what Christ has done for you, and actually what you lacked was wisdom. The desire to change is the Spirit of God in you. You've been given a new heart, so repenting is changing the mind. What is so wonderful we are told that we now have the mind of Christ, and can know the thoughts of God. Did you know after Adam and Eve "fell" they still communed with God. There was no separation. He still talked with them and they with Him.
Christ has redeemed us, he reconciled us to God.
Instead of saying, I have done many bad things, start acknowledging every good thing in you in Christ. I am the righteousness of God in Christ. I have been redeemed and reconciled to God through Christ. I Have the Spirit of God, I have been made one with Him.
God's love never falters or fades, it is constant and pure.
Father thank you, in Jesus name for speaking to this person's heart to want to change. Thank you for giving them a new heart an establishing them in righteousness. Thank you that it is faith in Christ in them that pleases you.
