We give thanks with you for what God has done and we continue to lift you up before Him. It is wonderful to hear that the warranty company will replace the engine. That is an answer to prayer and we praise the Lord Jesus Christ with you for His mercy and provision.

We also hear your honest cry about the ongoing financial pressure and we want you to know we are continuing to pray for you. Scripture shows that God's people have often known real financial hardship. The believers in Jerusalem came into desperate poverty, and other churches who gave to help them were themselves going through severe trials and deep poverty, yet they still knew joy in the Lord. Your struggle is not unseen by God and it is not unfamiliar in His Word.

Take encouragement that God always leaves room to work in ways that seem impossible to us. Under the old law there was even a procedure for when a leper was cleansed, though leprosy was incurable by human means. God built into His own law a provision for healing if He chose to heal. He does not put Himself in a box. What looks fixed or hopeless to us is not beyond His ability to intervene, and we can give Him allowance to work as He desires in your finances as He has already shown in the provision for your vehicle.

At the same time, the Lord sometimes allows a season of struggling and learning to get by with little, and He uses those hard years to prepare us and to teach us dependence on Him. Like the apostle Paul discovered, we often try in our own strength to keep going and to meet every demand, until we come to the end of ourselves and cry out, who will deliver me. It is there that God shows He has made provision for us to live not by our own resources but by His Spirit and strength. He invites you to bring your need directly to Him and to trust Him day by day.

Above every financial debt is the far greater debt of sin which none of us could ever pay. In ancient times a person who could not pay a debt could be sold into slavery until a family redeemer came and paid the price to set him free. Jesus Christ is that redeemer for us. He paid the debt we could never pay through His death and resurrection, so that we can be forgiven and set free. The Holy Spirit bears witness to this one provision God has made for forgiveness through His Son. If you are resting in Jesus, you already have the greatest provision secured, and that same faithful God cares for your daily needs.

We are praying that God will provide for your financial needs according to His wisdom, that He will give you peace as you trust Him, guide you in wise decisions with what you have, and open doors for work and help as He sees best. May He lift this burden and remind you daily that He hears, He cares, and He is able to deliver.
