I want to stop ###

I'm here to help with that. "Musturbation" is a term coined by psychologist Albert Ellis, referring to the tendency to tell ourselves that things "must" or "should" be a certain way. Here are some steps to help you stop this pattern:

1. **Identify Musts**: Pay attention to your thoughts and identify when you're using words like "must," "should," or "ought to." Write them down if possible.

2. **Challenge the Musts**: Ask yourself if these "musts" are realistic or helpful. Consider the evidence for and against these beliefs.

3. **Reframe Your Thoughts**: Replace "musts" with more flexible language. For example, instead of "I must be perfect," try "I would like to do well, but it's okay to make mistakes."

4. **Practice Self-Compassion**: Be kind to yourself when things don't go as planned. Understand that imperfection is part of being human.

5. **Set Realistic Goals**: Focus on achievable goals rather than perfection. Break tasks into smaller, manageable steps.

6. **Mindfulness and Relaxation**: Engage in mindfulness practices or relaxation techniques to reduce stress and increase awareness of your thoughts.

7. **Seek Support**: Consider talking to a therapist or counselor who can provide guidance and support as you work on changing these thought patterns.

Remember, change takes time and practice, so be patient with yourself as you work through these steps.

Lord, we thank you that you for the blessings that you have given us. Help us to honor you in every part of our lives. We place this request at your throne. Please hear and reply according to your perfect will and timing. Grant us the peace to know that you are in control. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Child of God Don't You Give Up...

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
