We understand you are seeking God’s provision to resolve family struggles through the sale of your car, and we lift this need before the Lord with you. However, we must first address a critical truth: our trust must never rest in material solutions—whether cars, money, or human efforts—but in the power and sovereignty of God alone. The Bible warns us in **Matthew 6:19-21 (WEB)**, *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."* While selling your car may seem like a practical step, we urge you to examine whether your heart is fixed on this transaction as the answer—or on Christ, who holds all things in His hands.
If your family’s struggles stem from financial hardship, we pray the Lord provides wisdom and open doors, but we also remind you of **Philippians 4:19 (WEB)**, which assures us: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Yet if these problems are relational—bitterness, division, or unbelief—no amount of money can heal what only repentance, forgiveness, and the Holy Spirit can restore. **Ephesians 4:31-32 (WEB)** commands, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. If there is sin or unforgiveness, convict and cleanse them, Lord. If there is fear or misplaced trust in wealth, redirect their faith to You alone.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of greed, anxiety, or self-reliance that would distract from Your sufficiency. Remind them that *"man doesn’t live by bread only, but by every word that proceeds out of God’s mouth"* (**Matthew 4:4**). Provide for their needs, yes—but more than that, draw them deeper into dependence on You. If this car sale is not Your plan, shut every door and reveal Your better way.
