I want to request prayer for myself. I'm having relationship problems and having problems letting go of my ex. We were together off and on for 15 years. And he was my best friend. He has moved on and is talking to a new girl. But I can't seem to move on. I have even been suicidal at times. Idk if I see myself without him even if that's what God's plan is. I just want to be happy again. Thank you in advance.

Thank you Father in heaven for answering our prayers in the name of Jesus I come into agreement with our friend and there request and thank you that a mustard seed sized faith can move mountains andlike Jesus said where 2 or 3 are gathered or agree he is in the midst and our heavenly Father will bring it to pass, forgive us of our sins and for any unbelief, help us to believe protect us all direct our path, heal us in all areas of our lives in Jesus name Amen

Fifteen years is a long time. You are not going to get over this in a few months. It will take time.

Why put up with on again off again? That is very unstable and could fall under the category of intermittent reinforcement depending on how you were treated. Was he nice sometimes and not so nice at others? Like blowing hot and cold? If so then this in and of itself can cause you to have a sort of addiction to him. A cycle of acceptance followed by rejection and it repeats over and over again. This is not good or healthy. I don't believe this is a definition of real love either or even a best friend.

Love should be longsuffering and never abandon the beloved.

It will take time but stop that cycle of back and forth. If his new relationship doesn't work out and he wants to are you going to take him back for another repeat of this same old cycle? I hope not for your sake.
