I want to pray for my self and someone who is always complaining about mine and

Fear can press in so quickly when you feel exposed, when someone’s words are being turned and shared in ways that seem designed to unsettle you. The enemy works through fear so often because fear and faith cannot occupy the same space. Where fear takes hold, trust in God slips away. So the first step is to remember the Lord, because remembering Him is always the cure for fear. David said he would fear no evil even in the valley of death’s shadow, and his reason was simply the presence of the Shepherd. The Lord is your light and your salvation. Whom shall you fear? The Lord is the strength of your life. Of whom shall you be afraid?

You mentioned that you are afraid. That is exactly the kind of snare that the fear of man sets. When we become consumed with what others might say or how they might twist things, peace vanishes. But the promise stands: whoever puts his trust in the Lord shall be safe. That doesn’t mean every uncomfortable conversation will disappear, but it does mean your heart can be hidden in the secret of His presence, away from the pride and the noise of man. You don’t need to lean on your own understanding of why this is happening or try to engineer a resolution out of anxiety. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, acknowledge Him in every part of this, and He will direct your path. The steps He shows you will be steady, not reactive or fearful.

Now for the person you are praying for. The real issue isn’t just the complaining or the sharing of perspectives; it’s a deeper root. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and to fear the Lord is to hate evil. Without that reverential awe, people become blind to what they are really doing. They flatter themselves and imagine they can speak carelessly without consequence. Pray that God would give them a proper fear of Him, that they would come to hate what He hates, including a tongue that sows discord. God does not despise the afflicted, and when you cry out to Him, He hears. He can change that heart as you bring them before Him.

But for yourself, refuse to let fear dictate your responses. Reactions born of fear are almost always wrong. Nehemiah recognized that the threats against him were meant to produce fear and drive him into a false shelter. He would not run into the temple out of panic; he trusted God to protect him right where he stood. God can protect you out on the walls of daily life. You don’t have to hide. Put your weight fully on Him, not on human alliances or on your own schemes. Cast your cares on Him, and He will sustain you. Those who trust in the Lord will be abundantly satisfied with the goodness of His house. There is no lack for those who fear Him. Your security, your reputation, and your peace are all in His hands, not in the hands of the one whose words trouble you. Leave it there, and let faith rise.
