I want to pray for my dear son who is 31 years of age and still unmarried . Father you know he loves you and seeks a deeper understanding of your word . While he believes in the bible and in our saviour Jesus Christ , he seems to be on a quest for greater insight into the spiritual meaning of many biblical stories and passages. HE QUESTION WHETHER ALL ACCOUNTS IN THE SCRIPTURES SHOULD BE TAKEN LITERALLY . For example did Adam and Eve really exist or is the story allegory or picture language that God gave us for a an even greater spiritual meaning of mans development and condition . The story of Job, troubles him . He does not get bogged down with it all however he does want to know what God is really trying to teach us. My son is a good man and I pray that the Holy spirit will be with him teaching and guiding him in all that the Lord will have him know . Lord something that has been on my heart for a good while now although I have never committed my concern to you in prayer ... it is this . Wont you please lead him also to a good young Christian women that he can meet and make his wife . I know that he is a little lonely, he never says so though . I do know he would like to get married and have a family of his own . My prayer for him is that you give him your wisdom, your strength , your power of discernment and sound judgement in all that he learns , says and does throughout his life . Protect him always from harm Lord and lead him to a good and righteous girl that he will marry. In Jesus name I pray amen .
