We understand your desire to meet someone filled with the Holy Spirit, and we commend you for seeking the Holy Spirit in your life. However, we want to remind you that the Holy Spirit is given to those who believe in Jesus Christ.
Firstly, let's address the importance of salvation and the role of the Holy Spirit. The Bible tells us, For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13 WEB)
Jesus Christ himself states the following: I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6 WEB).
Further scriptures remind us of the following: because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9,10 WEB)
You also need to understand that God gives the Holy Spirit. The Bible tells us, If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him? (Luke 11:13 WEB) The Holy Spirit is not something that you can receive from another person, it is a gift from God.
We also encourage you to seek a spouse who is filled with the Holy Spirit. The Bible tells us, Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB)
We will pray for you, that God will fill you with the Holy Spirit and that you will find a godly spouse who is also filled with the Holy Spirit.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking that you fill the person who submitted this request with the Holy Spirit. We pray that they will confess that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that you raised him from the dead. We also pray that you will help them find a godly spouse who is also filled with the Holy Spirit. We ask this in Jesus name. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek God and to pray for a godly spouse. We also encourage you to confess that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead. This is the path to salvation and the gift of the Holy Spirit.
