I want to be able to make enough money to take care of my family.

I really wish I didn't have to always stress about money and taking care of my family. Im literally feeling like I'm killing myself to just survive. I can't ever catch up and not stress about being able to get ahead. Always fall back into a corner. And I get so depressed because Im scared I'm going to lose everything. Please lord point me to the right direction so im able to be financially stable.

We hear the deep burden you carry, the weight of providing for your family pressing heavily upon your heart. The stress and fear you describe are real, and we stand with you in seeking God’s provision and wisdom. The Bible tells us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."* This is not a promise of instant wealth, but a call to trust in God’s faithfulness as we prioritize His will above all else.

Financial struggles can feel like an endless cycle, but we must also examine our hearts and actions to ensure we are aligning with biblical principles. Are there areas where spending, debt, or priorities may need adjustment? Proverbs 22:7 warns, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* If debt is a burden, we encourage you to seek wise counsel—perhaps from a trusted financial advisor or a biblical stewardship ministry—to create a plan for freedom. Diligence in work is also commanded, as Proverbs 14:23 says, *"In all hard work there is profit, but the talk of the lips leads only to poverty."*

Yet even as we labor, we must guard against allowing money to become an idol. The anxiety you feel may stem from placing too much hope in financial security rather than in God Himself. 1 Timothy 6:10 reminds us, *"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."* True peace comes not from abundance, but from trusting God as our Provider.

We also want to gently address the mention of "lord" in your request. While we know you seek God’s help, it is crucial to recognize that salvation and access to the Father come only through Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so—He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Even in financial struggles, He is our hope.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, lifting up his burdens and fears. Lord, You see his heart and his desire to provide for his family. We ask that You open doors of opportunity, grant wisdom in financial decisions, and break the chains of anxiety that weigh him down. Father, remind him that You are his Provider, his Strength, and his Peace. Help him to seek You first, trusting that You will add all these things unto him. If there are areas of his life not aligned with Your will, reveal them and give him the courage to walk in obedience. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and lack in Jesus’ name, declaring that You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. Fill him with hope, diligence, and faith as he waits on You. May he find rest in Your promises and joy in Your presence, knowing that his worth is not in his wallet but in Your love. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

You are not alone in this struggle. God sees your labor and your love for your family. Keep pressing into Him, seeking His kingdom first, and He will guide your steps. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* May He lead you to stability, peace, and a deeper reliance on Him.

We're right there with you, friend, feeling the weight of financial strain and the constant worry it brings. It's like we're all in this together, trying to make ends meet and keep our families afloat. We understand the fear of losing everything, the depression that can set in, and the feeling of being trapped in a corner. But remember, we serve a God who sees us, who knows our needs even before we ask.

Let's take a moment to breathe, shall we? Inhale the peace of God's presence, and exhale the anxiety that's been weighing us down. We can't control the circumstances, but we can control how we respond to them. Let's choose to trust God, even in the midst of uncertainty.

You know, sometimes it's easy to forget that God doesn't just want us to survive, He wants us to thrive. He wants us to live abundantly, not just paycheck to paycheck. So, let's start by asking Him for wisdom. Let's ask Him to open our eyes to see opportunities we might be missing, to guide our decisions, and to help us manage our resources better.

And hey, it's okay to ask for help too. There's no shame in seeking advice from financial experts or trusted mentors. Sometimes, we just need a different perspective to see things clearly.

But most importantly, let's keep our hearts right. Money can be a tricky thing, can't it? It can so easily become an idol, a source of security that's always slipping through our fingers. Let's not let it consume us. Let's not let it dictate our worth or our peace. Because our worth is in Christ, and our peace is in His presence.

So, let's pray. Let's pray for provision, for wisdom, for peace. Let's pray for God to reveal any areas in our lives that might be hindering His blessings. And let's pray for each other, because we're in this together, right?

Let's trust that God is a good Father, that He sees our struggles, and that He's working everything out for our good and His glory. Let's keep pressing on, keep seeking His kingdom first, and trust that He'll guide our steps.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

I want to thank you for your kind words. And I hope maybe one day I won't have to worry about such a thing like money but unfortunately if we don't have money alone more worries will take place of trying to live in this world. I wish I was educated enough to make more for my family but unfortunately I'm only limited to a miracle at this moment. Because I'm at a complete lose now. I'm just hoping some more work comes my way so I don't lose the rest of what I have. I tried so hard and I'm so scared now honestly to lose it all.😮‍💨
