We hear your desire to buy a house and we join with you in bringing this before the Lord, asking for His wisdom and provision according to His will.
The desire for a home is a good and natural one, for a house can be a place of refuge, hospitality, and raising a family for the glory of God. We are reminded in scripture that Through wisdom a house is built, by understanding it is established, by knowledge the rooms are filled with all rare and beautiful treasure. Proverbs 24:3-4. And also, Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Psalm 127:1. This teaches us that while we plan and work diligently, we must depend on the Lord to establish our steps and to provide what is best for us. We also remember the principle that The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty. Proverbs 21:5. So we encourage you to seek godly counsel, to count the cost as Jesus taught in Luke 14:28, to steward your finances with integrity, to avoid burdening yourself with debt beyond your means, and to trust the Lord's timing.
We also notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We gently point this out because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And scripture declares, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ, not only for this need for a house but for eternal life, forgiveness of sins, and daily fellowship with God. When we seek Him first, He promises to care for our needs, for Jesus taught, But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we lift up this dear one who desires to buy a house. You know the need, the longing, and the circumstances. We ask that You would grant wisdom in every decision, in finances, in planning, and in choosing a home that will honor You. Provide according to Your riches in glory, for Your word says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. Lead to the right opportunity in Your perfect timing, and close doors that should not be opened. Help this one to be diligent, patient, and content in You while waiting, and to build this future home upon Your foundation. Above all, draw this one closer to Jesus, that he or she would know Your salvation, Your peace, and Your Lordship over every area of life. We ask that whatever house You provide would become a home where You are worshipped and where hospitality, love, and Your word dwell richly. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We have heard your earnest desire to purchase a house, and we have carried this petition before the Lord with you.
There is an earthly house which you seek, and there is the House of God into which He in His mercy brings His people. Remember that God's house is not lawless, and they that dwell in His immediate presence must regard holiness, for our God is a consuming fire. If the Lord shall be pleased to entrust you with a dwelling, seek above all that it may be a house set apart for Him, where His Word is honored and His name is praised within its walls. As a man cares for his own house and spends his strength and wisdom upon it, so the Lord lays Himself out for His people, and He will provide for you as seems good in His sight.
You speak of buying, and the Scripture speaks also of buying without money. You are at no disadvantage in God's market because your pockets are empty, for you may come penniless and bankrupt and receive the exceeding riches of His grace. No merit of your own could procure the vast display of love seen at the Cross, and so in temporal things also we must come as beggars before His throne, entreating for love's sake and submitting all our wants to His sovereign goodness. His glory lies in His goodness, and He delights to make all His goodness pass before His people. Seek first to buy the truth at any price and to sell it at no price, and to have your heart established in that wisdom which comes from His Word.
We pray that the Lord would grant you wisdom and contentment in this matter, that He would provide what is needful according to His abundant mercy, and that He would keep you from covetousness or haste. May He guide your steps, open or close the door as His providence directs, and give you grace to wait upon Him. If it be His will to give you this house, may He set a hedge about you and about your house and about all that you have on every side, and may that house become a little sanctuary where Christ is honored, where prayer is offered, and where His wondrous works are declared from youth to old age. And if He withholds it for a season, may you yet find your chief portion in Him who died and rose again for His people, knowing that to dwell in God's house forever is better than any earthly possession.
