I Walk By Faith...

... each step by faith.

Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

It has been 7 months now that I have not received my salary, but thanks be to God, me and my family have never gone hungry especially my kids. They go to school daily, although their school allowance has been lessened, we can only afford about $1.25 for each of them that includes their fare, 2 recess (am/pm) and lunch, they never complained and they go to school faithfully. God has been feeding us, his hands can be seen working in our family especially at that time when we were abandoned with only $2 in my wallet, we have survived for two months, with food on our table daily and my 2 kids going to school daily. We were never kicked out of our house, even today that we have not yet fully paid all past balances. We still have roof on our head.

Our rice bin, almost never ran out of rice. My father-in-law brought rice almost weekly, and told me that if it ran out I should tell him. But then I am too shy to ask, so I tell God when the rice is almost gone... Father, please tell my father-in-law to bring us more rice. And sure did, my father-in-law will drop by with rice and some meat. Although during the early times of my marriage, he doesn't like me that much. Up till now he still brings us rice, and I still asks God to tell father-in-law to bring us some more when I see my rice bin with almost no rice.

Our bills, even though i'm late in payments most of the time, Im still able to pay them, except for the mortgage, I've been praying to God for his provisions for my mortgage, the last time we had final demand letter for foreclosure, but with God's help the house was saved, although at that time I was not able to pay all the past dues, it was saved. I know God will complete the payments, Im faithfully waiting for his provisions.

I think about Matthew 6:33 all the time, and apply it in my daily living. God says not to worry, we are worth more than sparrows to Him. He has taken care of our basic needs and he will keep on taking care of us. I thank him that I am not worried about these things, surprisingly, because before I used to worry too much even with little things. What am most concerned is our house mortgage.

When my marriage got restored, our financial situation seemed to worsen, but God was and is my provider, he keeps on providing our daily bread.

God is so good and I thank him all the time for all his blessings to us.
God is so good, not just because he blesses us, but he teaches me how to walk in his righteousness, how to keep on obeying his word.

I really don't know why for such a long period I am not receiving my salary, but I believe God has a plan for it. I trust my boss, she is a very honest person and a Christian too. I keep on praying for it, for I need the money to pay bills, but God had made me wait, this long. I never stopped working at my boss' site even though I'm not receiving any pay. I strongly believe in "faith without works is dead." So i pray and do whatever I know how to earn.

All these months, I see him working in us, I saw my faith, God had blessed us and provided our needs, not that money was magically found on our table, but God touched some people to share their blessings to me and my family. We have survived.

If we put God first, if we keep on seeking him and do his will in our lives... all these things will be added unto us, because He will take care of us and of our needs.

One day, I know, all these things will pass away, everything in my family will be back to normal, God will lift us up out of this poverty. Amen.

To God be the glory!

WoW ! You have so blessed me today with your faith.People don't beleve me but for 6 months,I went through the exact same thing when I lost my Marine Corps pension through a series of mistakes.When I first got the news,I fell on my face and just wept before the Lord.I'm partially paralysed and was about to go through my first bypass heart surgery.
I also have Grand children that depended on my help.Before I got off the floor I remember just surrendering it all to Jesus,and I heard clear as a bell in my spirit,just two words,and I knew that voice that said; Trust Me! And I did.I or my grandkids never went a day being hungry.My bills were slowly paid.I never missed rent and I actually had enough to bless others with foodstuffs outside my family.My miracles came from Christ through the genarousity of others also.People of the street I had previously Ministered to even came to bless me.God is good and more then able to meet our every need. My pension was restored and I was back on track.Keep trusting in the goodness and provision of our sweet and precious Lord Jesus.God remembers the poor and helps us.Please honor my family by leaving a mailing address in a message to me on my profile,so my family can send yours a little help on the first of next month.Me and my Grandkids would love to chip in to help you,your husband and children.God richly bless you...your brother in Christ,Ronny

A double 'wow' to you both!! I heard once a preacher said that living by faith is exciting..but for others it is nervously exciting when tithes and offerings are sent out before paying the bills and yet not knowing if there is going to be food on the table for them and their kids. And true enough, He always shows up right on time just like what He did for you both :)

25 I have been young, and now am old;
Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken,
Nor his descendants begging bread.
26 He is ever merciful, and lends;
And his descendants are blessed. -Psalm 37

Thank You dear Lord for such great testimonies of Your goodness and faithfulness. Bless Jayrene and Ronny and their descendants with the blessing of Psalm 20, in Your precious Name, amen.

@Ronny,

wow.. praise the Lord! your testimony has lifted up my spirit more. God works in mysterious ways and he has proven it to me many times. i am deaf and cannot work offline, so i work online, support admin in advertising sites, and also clicking to view ads. I have always my taught my children to have compassion to others in need, and even though we have very little at this moment, whenever God tells me to share, i never hesitate to do so. I am always reminded of the widow who gave her all, this is also what i teach my children. I tell them God will keep on blessing us, so no need to be selfish. God bless us all. Amen.

Walking after the flesh, simply put, is to prioritize man's (natural) desires over God’s (Spiritual) will. To prioritize anything over God is idolatry. I've said before many times: GOD FIRST I'm not forcing my opinion on anyone. I'm relaying the Word of God to those who have ears to hear...

2 Corinthians 5:6-8 - King James Version 6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord; 7 for we walk by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the...
