I Told My Husband I Am Willing To Forgive And Work Things Out

Please pray that my husband is able to really take to heart the words I spoke to him today. He stopped by the house to sign the house papers, we unfortunately have to put the house up on the market, and it saddens me. This was our first home ever we purchased, and first home together, moving in a month after we were married 4 years ago. He still is saying this divorce is what he wants, he knows in his heart it is the right decision. I told him tonight, that I want him to know I am ONLY signing house papers and going through all of this because he is asking me to. I do not want any of this, this is the hardest thing I've had to do, and I not want any of this...its all his choice. He said "I know." I told him even knowing all I know now I am still willing to forgive him and still wish we could work on things and work this out. I told him I have God and I know I could forgive him (he had and is likely still seeing his coworker). He just nodded like he heard me but didn't say anything. I don't ever want to seem desparate or like I'm waiting around for him, but I DO LOVE HIM and want to honor my marriage and work things out since we never worked on it. I want to make sure he knows I love him and want to try, I never want him to think he is too far gone that he cannot ask for me back.

Please Lord, help my words sink into his heart and mind. Please help our souls to connect always and use me for good Lord. Please show me and guide me to how I should act. Use me to help my husband turn from his sinful ways. Please also show me the kind of woman and spouse You want me to be. Please guide me always to the path You want me to take. I trust You Lord, but I am scared and fear because I love my husband and want to work things out. Please help his heart hear me, and help his heart hear YOU.
