Pray and wait on the Lord... do not follow a man into divorce, you know in your heart you don't want it and neither does the Lord, so wait on the Lord and do only what He leads you to do.  Put your heart in the Lord's hands and allow Him to heal and bind you up, and to draw your strength from him.  Maybe watch the movie "Fireproof", and try the "love dare".  Do anything but give up.  You have his spirit in you, the same spirit that raised Christ from the dead, and in Christ you can do all things.  Amen.

"In His Name" thank you for writing.  Your prayers are SO very much needed and appreciated right now.  I have so much going on my head is spinning and all of it has 'earthly' deadlines.  I know the laws of this world should not matter but when courts give you deadlines that you HAVE to sign or you get taken to court I just get so worried about it all.  I don't want to sign, but everything is so scary.  I keep praying to God to change my heart and my husband's heart through all of this.  He is however, involved with another woman and I'm pretty sure he has been spending this weekend and will be spending New Years eve with her, ringing in the New Year.  It makes me sad that he has checked out and is convincing himself his new life is easier and better.  I just pray he thinks about us and stops tomorrow night to let himself feel the weight of all that has happened.  Unfortunately he is very good at staying on the surface right now and avoiding the real life.  Lord, please keep bringing my husband out of the fog he is trying to put himself in.  Please end this affair he is in and keep placing stumbling blocks in front of the wrong path. Thank you ALL for your prayers.  My papers are due back January 12th  AND I am trying to figure out how not to lose our house amidst all of this since he is no longer paying it.  And with all of this "legal" stuff going on all I can think of is how he is spending New years Eve with her and probably having a fun, romantic time.  I just hope he lets God into his heart and soul so that a mighty work can be done on him.

Please bring your love, forgiveness, and healing into this sister's marriage.  Please guide her as she turns more and more to You.  Please bring godly people into both her husband's and her lives to speak your Word.  Please let her know that she should focus on You as much as possible, even though her circumstances are pressing in on her.  You are the God of Restoration and want us all to live by your Word.  It is only through your strength that we can do that, so please Lord, give her your strength and wisdom. I ask these things in Jesus' name.  Amen.

Melissa, I can tell you that I am in a very similar situation with my marriage.  I have had some life changing guidance from Restore Ministries International.  Seriously, and it's free and Christian.  The women involved there have all had this situation in their lives.  Not all the details are the same, but their marriages were at risk or completely broken or even over with a divorce.  Many women have had restored marriages and they share their testimonies, too.  It's at -banned site-.com  I will continue to pray for you.
