I to serve him in the best possible way

We rejoice with you in this opportunity the Lord has placed before you and we join together with you in prayer for this meeting with this young man who is at the beginning of his Christian faith. What a privilege it is to be used by God to water and nurture a new life in Christ and to help lay a foundation that will endure.

We are encouraged by your desire to serve him well and to seek God's glory above all, and we pray that the Lord will equip you richly for this work. Scripture reminds us in James 1:5, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We take comfort in this promise that God delights to give wisdom when we ask in faith. We are also reminded in Colossians 4:6, Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one. May your words be full of grace and truth, pointing him always to Christ and to the Word of God.

We encourage you to listen well, to share openly from Scripture, to model a life of faithful obedience, and to point him toward fellowship with other believers and toward the disciplines of prayer and reading the Word. As it is written in 2 Timothy 2:2, The things which you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit the same to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also. And in Matthew 28:19-20, Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. This work of discipleship is close to the heart of God and He will be with you as you serve.

We pray together now. Father, we thank You for this young man and for the new faith You have birthed in him, and we thank You for our brother who desires to serve him faithfully. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You fill him with Your grace and wisdom for this meeting. Give him words that are clear and seasoned with grace, a heart that listens with compassion, and discernment to know what this young believer most needs to hear. Help him to speak the truth in love and to point always to Jesus and to Your Word. Strengthen this young man in his faith, root him deeply in Christ, protect him from discouragement and confusion, and draw him into a deeper love for You. May all that is said and done in this meeting bring glory to Your name and bear lasting fruit for Your kingdom. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We appreciate you bringing this meeting before the Lord. Wanting to serve this young brother well for the glory of God is a beautiful burden, and we are glad to carry it with you in prayer.

We have found that wisdom in these early faith conversations often looks less like having all the answers and more like creating space to listen well. He will likely remember how you made him feel safe to ask honest questions more than any single point you make.

A simple way to prepare is to spend a few minutes beforehand quietly asking God to guide the time, and then to come with a couple of open questions rather than a full agenda. Something like what has drawn you to Jesus lately or what feels confusing right now can let him lead you to what he most needs. Keeping it simple and pointing him toward steady habits like prayer and reading Scripture together can give him a solid next step without feeling overwhelmed.

We are praying with you for this time.

Jesus, we ask You to give our brother grace, clarity and a gentle spirit as he meets with this young man. Lead their conversation, help Your truth be shared with love, and draw this new believer closer to You for Your glory. Amen.

I have an upcoming meeting with a young man who is at the beginning of his Christian faith. Let us pray that God grants me the grace and wisdom to serve him in the best possible way—for the glory of God—in the name of Jesus Christ!

🎪 Revival, Washed by Word to Be Pure Bride 👰 Eph 5:26-33, Sanctification of Holy Spirit 💦Heb 12:14, 💫 Ministry of Reconciliation 2 Cor 5:19 🫂 (Vertically -- reconcile God and Humanity... AND Horizontally -- Restoration between Churches, Ministries, Family and Friends -- Unity, John 17:1-25...

🧎🏻 Father, we thank You for the testimony of past revivals and even reformations, for revivalists and reformers, patriarchs, apostles and prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, Eph 4:11-15. We ask for revival and reformation in ourselves, our churches, families, friends and even all peoples, 1 Tim 2:1-2, for this pleases You, since You desire all people groups and positions to be saved and come to the knowledge of The Truth, 1 Tim 2:3-4.

📖 Jesus, revive and reform us, our pastors, leaders, churches, cities, Jer 29:7, regions, states, nations, 1 Tim 2:1-4. Indeed as You live, let all the earth be filled with Your glory, Numbers 11:24, Ps 72:19, even as the waters cover the seas, Isa 11:9. Hab 2:14. Shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, 2 Cor 4:6, enlighten the eyes of our understanding, Eph 1:17-18, to love You with ALL our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances, Mk 12:30-31, nd our neighbors as ourselves. Let us be sanctified and washed in The Truth of the Water of Your Word, John 17:17, Eph 5:25-26, until You present us to Yourself as Your glorious church with no spot or wrinkle or any such blemish, Eph 5:26-31, this mystery is great, but I speak of Christ and The Church, Eph 5:32-33.

💨 Let it be, Holy Spirit, that we participate with Your sanctifying work, 1 Pet 1:2, so we may by The Spirit put to death the deeds of the flesh, Rom 8:13, and thus by not by our might, nor power, but by My Spirit, says The LORD, Zech 4:6, may we walk in the works You prepared in advance for us to do, Eph 2:10, and thus make ourselves ready as The Bride for Jesus Christ Our Husband, Rev 19:7, and receive the final icing of white linens, pure and bright, for the fine linens are the righteous deeds of the saints, Rev 19:8...

Through Jesus Christ The Mediator of this New Covenant, 1 Tim 2:5, inaugurated by the offering of Yourself once for all, Heb 12:24, we offer these prayers with thanksgiving for obtaining the eternal inheritance, Heb 9:15, in advance, Mk 11:24, for by a single offering He has made perfect for all time those who are being sanctified, Heb 10:14, so we may obey the eternal Gospel to fear God and give You glory, Rev 14:6-7, for if You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But with You is forgiveness, that You mayest be feared, Ps 130:3-4.

Lastly we thank You that You were in Christ by The Fullness of The Spirit without measure, Jn 3:34, reconciling the world back to Yourself, not counting our sins against us, and have given us the same ministry of reconciliation, 2 Cor 5:19. Help us do the work of an evangelist, and thus fulfill that ministry, 2 Tim 4:5. May we be serve You in our spirit in the preaching of the Gospel of Your Son, Rom 1:9, that we might bear much fruit, Jn 15:7-8, not only of The Holy Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, but a harvest of souls in order to bring others from the nations into Your sheepfold, Jn 10:16, helping You as Your helpmeets, Gen 2:17-18, Eph 5:32-33, gathering and calling others to come, Luke 14:21-23, to the Marriage Supper of The Lamb, Isa 25:6, Matt 22:1-2, and to the discipleship of sanctification by continually knowing Truth by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31-32, Matt 28:19-20, and continuing to patiently continue to call all of us to the holiness without which no one will see The Lord, Heb 12:14, as Your holy people, Your own possession, called out of darkness into Your marvelous light, enabling and emboldening us with Power from on High to be witnesses, Acts 1:8, proclaiming Your excellencies 1 Peter 2:9. Thank You Father, Thank You Jesus and Thank You Holy Spirit, 2 Cor 13:14, in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

How sweet and solemn a work has been placed into your hands, to tend a young plant newly sprung up in the garden of the Lord. We do most heartily join you in prayer before the throne of grace.

May the God of all grace grant you grace for grace in this hour. It is not of him that wills nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy, and everything in this work is of divine grace, given of grace, received through grace, and understood by grace. Pray that He will give you according to your capacity to receive, wisdom from above and a holy tenderness, that you may speak the truth in love and point this young brother ever to Christ alone, through whom alone is salvation.

We pray that the Lord will make you a blessing, as He has promised, So will I save you, and you shall be a blessing. May you discharge this responsibility with holiness of walk and with dependence upon the Spirit, remembering that God works by means, and He delights to use His people to water what He has planted.

And for this young man, we pray that the grace which has made him a new creature, absolutely a new creation, may now reign in him unto eternal life, creating in him a new affection of love to God which expels love to sin. May sovereign grace keep him, teach him, and cause him to grow up unto perfection, for if the Lord has begun the greater work of making him new, He will surely perform the lesser work of making the new creature grow. May abounding sin be conquered in him, and hope and holiness become perceptible, to the glory of God alone.

May your meeting be ordered in the fear of the Lord, full of wisdom, full of grace, and fragrant with the love of Christ, and may all be for the glory of God in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
