Father, I thank You for all that You do for us, for the way that You take our prayers and shape our lives through them to fit Your will and to better us. Father, I don't know what happened with this promotion, I know that it was important to her, and she has brought it before Your throne many times. I do have faith in You Lord, that You have seen the bigger picture, what she needs in her life, and have prepared something so much bigger for her. Lord, I know that there are so many ways You answer prayers, yes, no, yes but later, and sometimes You give us something so different than what we were praying for. Strengthen Stephanie as she waits to see what You have in store for her, as she has placed her faith in You, I know that You are there for her. Lord, I lift this sister to You in prayer, for her to be comforted by Your word, and to feel that peace that comes only from You. I praise You Lord for that peace, and especailly for the Holy Spirit that brings that peace to us. Fill her with Your Spirit Lord, fill her to overflowing, I pray for her to dance in the Spirit, filled with the peaceful feeling that no matter the circumstances she knows You are there with her. Stephanie, you did get an answer to your prayers and ours. It was no....now I know that's not what you wanted, you obviously wanted to be promoted and i'm sure you deserve it but the Lord has other things in mind for you. It's tough when we are told no, we think the Lord isn't listening but he is, he is always with you. You might have gotten that promotion and who knows, it may have taken you to a place you didn't want to go. Your children need you Steph, I know you know that and I know you miss them so much. The Lord Jesus Christ will take care of you, he will produce when his timing says so. The hard part also is when our time and his don't mesh. Keep your head up kid....the Lord loves you, we love you, and you've got family back home who love you way more than I could ever know. You are blessed Steph, don't let the devil steal your joy.
