Disciple of Prayer
I surrender all you Lord! I have been dealing with bad knees for almost 2 years now and the pain is always there.
So here is my story:
In March 2012, I got so dehydrated that month that I had to stay home on bedrest for 2 days. I was walking up the bleachers at a soccer game in Germany and my knee popped. Then everything was fine. I was just limping.
But my life took a turn for the worst. My knee popped in AFJROTC while playing kickball. I was about to run, but right when I was lifting up my knee, it popped. The pain was probably the same as giving birth. I was rushed to the ER. So they checked it out and took an x-ray, and then they released me from the ER and I was on crutches for 2 weeks with a brace that went all the way down from my thigh to my calf. But then over the summer it healed.
But then I went to the famous place called Stonehenge. Then it popped again until I wanted to try out for volleyball. I went to go hit, but then it popped again. Then I went to the doctor because they said, in case it pops again, come back. So I did, and they did physical therapy for me and my right knee never popped again. That was one of the hardest years for me. So soccer came around again, but on the 2nd day of tryouts, guess what happened! My LEFT KNEE popped.
What?????????? I was out for a week, then I came back, but then a week later it popped again. I didn't want to miss out on the soccer season again! But then it popped a few more times. I was walking towards the bus one day and it popped again. I scraped my knee really bad and bruised it. I was bleeding a lot on my hand and arm, but I think I fainted for like a minute because I hit the ground so hard on my side. If I were to have fallen forward, I would probably have ended up in the hospital. I can't really remember, but I think someone ran to me before my head hit the ground. I can't really remember because it happened really quickly. I still remember to this day all the laughs I have gotten. I was crying in pain, and all they did was laugh. People have no right to, my knee popped. What was I supposed to do? I can't control it when it pops, but sometimes, I do feel like it's going to, but then it doesn't.
I did cross country this past fall, and one day it popped again. I can't recall it popping again in these past few months, but then this past month my knee popped again. It popped when I just hopped off a curve in a parking lot. But then just last week I didn't pop my knee, but I fell on it, and it is bruised at the moment. So please pray that I might find out soon. Thank you!!
