We hear your cry for complete healing from asthma, a condition that has burdened you for 16 long years. The Word of God assures us that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and that Jesus Himself took our infirmities and bore our diseases (Matthew 8:17). We stand on these promises, believing that God is not only able to heal but also willing, for He is a compassionate Father who cares deeply for your suffering.
First, we want to address the foundation of our faith. Healing, like all blessings, flows from the grace of God through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or made whole (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father and His healing power. If you have already done so, we rejoice with you and stand with you in faith.
Now, let us come before the throne of grace together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer. We lift up this dear one who has endured the struggle of asthma for so many years. Lord, You see every breath they take, every moment of fear or discomfort, and every prayer they have whispered for relief. We ask You, in the authority of Jesus’ name, to break the power of this affliction and bring complete healing to their body.
Father, Your Word declares that You are the God who heals us (Exodus 15:26). We claim that promise now. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity that has bound them, and we command every part of their respiratory system to be restored to perfect health. Let Your healing virtue flow through their lungs, airways, and every cell, bringing strength, ease, and freedom. We speak life where there has been struggle, and we declare that this asthma has no place in their body any longer.
Lord, we also ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind as they wait for this manifestation of healing (Philippians 4:7). Give them patience and unwavering faith, knowing that You are working even when they cannot see it. Strengthen their trust in You, and let them experience Your presence in a tangible way during this season.
We also pray for wisdom in their daily life. Guide them in making choices that support their health, whether in diet, exercise, or environment, so that their body may be a temple that honors You (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Surround them with believers who will stand with them in faith, pray with them, and encourage them.
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We thank You that healing is already done in the spiritual realm and is manifesting in the physical. We trust You to complete the work You have begun (Philippians 1:6). May this dear one rise up in victory, breathing freely and testifying to Your goodness and power. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm on God’s promises and continue to declare His Word over your life. Speak healing scriptures aloud daily, such as Psalm 103:2-3, which says, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." Meditate on these truths and let them build your faith.
Additionally, consider seeking godly counsel from medical professionals who honor God and can provide wisdom in managing your health. While we believe in divine healing, we also recognize that God often works through practical means. Trust Him to guide you in all decisions.
Lastly, if there are areas in your life where you may have opened doors to fear, anxiety, or unforgiveness, we encourage you to surrender those to the Lord. Fear and bitterness can hinder faith and even affect physical health. Confess any such areas to God, receive His forgiveness, and walk in the freedom He provides (1 John 1:9).
We stand with you in faith, believing that your testimony of healing is on the way. May the Lord bless you with His peace, strength, and the full manifestation of His healing power in your life.
