I stunned a ###.

Please pray for me. I recently attended a Latin Mass and had the opportunity to share my story with the priest, including the prophecy I’ve been holding onto. After hearing everything, he was completely stunned. He told me he had never heard anything like this before and that, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t disprove or dismiss it. He even said that what I shared was very likely true and that God is clearly doing something significant in my life. He encouraged me to remain faithful in this “desert season,” even though it’s confusing and heavy. Before I left, he blessed both me and my ex-girlfriend, told me “I’m invested now, keep me updated,” and even gave me his card so we could stay in touch. Please pray for her salvation, that everything pulling her away from God would fall away, and that she would come to know Jesus personally and powerfully. Pray for her brother, who is ministering to her with grace and truth, that God would strengthen and guide him. And please pray for me, for continued strength, discernment, patience, and endurance to stay on the narrow path. Pray that I remain thankful and faithful in the waiting, and that I keep trusting God’s perfect timing, especially as I wait on what He has promised. Thank you so much.

We join you in standing in awe of how God is moving in your life, and we lift our voices together in prayer for you, your ex-girlfriend, and her brother. It is clear that the Lord is doing a profound work, and we must first address something vital before we proceed: the name by which all things are made possible. You did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request, and yet it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, salvation, and the power to intercede. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is in Jesus’ name alone that we pray, that hearts are transformed, and that God’s will is accomplished. If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior—believing that He died for your sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day—we urge you to do so now. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). This is the foundation of all we ask and all we hope for.

Now, let us address the matters of your heart with truth and love. We rejoice that the priest recognized the hand of God in your life, and we pray that this confirmation strengthens your faith. However, we must also speak clearly about the relationship you mentioned. Scripture is unmistakable about the sanctity of marriage and the boundaries God has set for relationships. You referred to your "ex-girlfriend," and while we understand the depth of care you have for her, we must remind you that romantic relationships outside of marriage—especially between believers and unbelievers—are not aligned with God’s design. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). If this relationship was or is physical in any way outside of marriage, we must call it what Scripture calls it: fornication, which is a sin against God and against your own body (1 Corinthians 6:18). Repentance and turning away from such sin is essential, for *"the body is... for the Lord, and the Lord for the body"* (1 Corinthians 6:13, WEB). We urge you to examine your heart and this relationship in light of God’s Word. If marriage was not the godly goal from the beginning, then the relationship was not honoring to Him. Even now, your prayers for her salvation must be rooted in a commitment to holiness, trusting that God’s will—for both of you—is perfect, even if it means surrendering your own desires.

As for the prophecy you mentioned, we must approach it with discernment. *"Don’t quench the Spirit. Don’t despise prophecies. But test all things, and hold firmly that which is good"* (1 Thessalonians 5:19-21, WEB). If what you’ve received aligns with Scripture and bears the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23)—then hold fast to it. But be cautious of anything that exalts personal revelation above the written Word of God or that leads you into emotional or spiritual dependence on signs rather than on Christ Himself. *"To the law and to the testimony! If they don’t speak according to this word, surely there is no morning for them"* (Isaiah 8:20, WEB). The "desert season" you’re in may very well be a time of refining, where God is stripping away distractions so that you might cling more tightly to Him. But beware of the enemy’s attempts to use prophecy—or the memory of a past relationship—to keep you in bondage to uncertainty or longing. Your focus must remain on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Let us pray now with boldness and clarity:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the ways You are moving in this brother’s life, confirming Your presence and Your plans. Lord, we ask that You guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, that he would not be led astray by emotion, nostalgia, or any word that does not align with Your perfect Word. Give him discernment to test all things and wisdom to walk in obedience, even when the path is narrow and the waiting is hard. Father, we lift up his ex-girlfriend to You. Soften her heart to receive the truth of the Gospel. Break every chain of sin, deception, and hardness that keeps her from surrendering to You. Raise up godly influences in her life—especially her brother—and grant him boldness, grace, and wisdom as he ministers to her. May she encounter You in a way that leaves no room for doubt, that she would repent and place her faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Lord, we also pray for this brother’s purity and strength. If there has been sin in this relationship, convict him deeply and lead him to repentance. Restore him, Father, and set his feet on the path of righteousness. Fill him with Your Spirit, that he might walk in patience, gratitude, and unwavering faith as he waits on Your promises. Remind him that Your timing is perfect, Your ways are higher, and Your love is better than life itself. Bind the enemy from bringing confusion, temptation, or discouragement. Let this season be one of deepening trust in You, not in prophecies or past relationships, but in the unchanging character of God. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Brother, we encourage you to press into Scripture daily, to surround yourself with believers who will speak truth into your life, and to surrender every desire—even the desire for this woman’s salvation—to the Lord. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:4-5, WEB). His will is good, and His plans for you are for your ultimate joy and His glory. Walk in obedience, and you will see His faithfulness unfold. We are standing with you in prayer.

Wow, what an incredible confirmation you received from the priest! It's like God is saying, "Yes, I'm here, and I'm doing something significant in your life." We're right there with you, celebrating and praying.

Now, let's talk about the waiting. It's tough, isn't it? Like a desert season, dry and heavy. But remember, even in the desert, God was with the Israelites, providing for them, and leading them. He's doing the same for you. This season might be refining you, stripping away distractions, so you can cling more tightly to Him.

We're praying for you, brother. For continued strength, discernment, patience, and endurance. We're asking God to help you stay faithful and trusting in this waiting season. And we're believing that He will reveal His perfect timing in all things.

And hey, we're also praying for your ex-girlfriend. That God would soften her heart, break every chain keeping her from Him, and reveal Himself to her powerfully. We're believing for her salvation and for her brother to have boldness, grace, and wisdom as he ministers to her.

Stay strong, brother. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. He's got you, and He's working all things together for your good and His glory.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
