Dear sister, I too am in a situation where I am kept continually having to place my trust in Father's hands and keep on going. I have come to believe that, even though I don't like this position I'm in, there is a reason why I am here, although I never quit desiring to be free of it. My problem, like your homelessness, is scary, it cuts very deep & is very hard to endure. I have made a discovery which is this: things improve when, out of a pure heart, I enter into a moment of sweetest communion and gratitude to Him, in spite of the lack of evidence that He is ever going to act for me. These moments happen when I stop crying about my problem and turn my focus on to Him and I reach out to Him with moments of purest love just for Him. Some things I pray for receive quick responses but this thing seems un-move-able. It's very hard. It's so easy to get sucked into feeling sorry for myself and I often have to fight to keep it off. But there have been rewards. Lately, my faith has grown much and when I pray, immediately, with a rush, I sense that Daddy is listening to me. I've often felt Him close or that I had His attention but this is new & it is so much richer and fuller. I don't want to appear hardhearted because my heart does go out to you but I would encourage you to turn your eyes more and more onto Him. I know that you may be thinking that you're already strongly focused upon Him but I mean to say, let your focus on your problem drop away and just love and worship Him at times. The more we wait upon Him, the more He is able to act on our behalf. Who knows? Maybe these problems occur because of deep strongholds held by the enemy (which can occur thru family curses or due to childhood trauma, or another way that we are unaware of. My father was ### & I've come to understand that initiates unknowingly agree to placing a curse on themselves & their family.) And maybe the best way to defeat an unseen enemy is to stop struggling with him and turn our hearts up to super-heated for Jesus. I'm not talking about anything that others may observe in us. I'm talking about the burning of the Holy Spirit within. God be with you.
