I request you to please pray for me help me restore my broken relationship

We come before the Lord with you in this time of heartache and longing, lifting your broken relationship to the One who heals and restores. Yet before we pray, we must first address something of great importance. Your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). There is no other name by which we can be saved or through which our prayers are heard (Acts 4:12). We urge you to place your faith in Jesus Christ alone, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Now, regarding your relationship, we must also speak truth in love. Marriage is a sacred covenant before God, designed to be between one man and one woman for life (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If you and your fiancée are not yet married, we encourage you to examine whether your relationship honors God in every way. Have you kept yourselves pure, or has there been sinful compromise, such as sexual immorality (fornication)? Scripture warns, *"Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB). If this has occurred, true restoration begins with repentance—turning away from sin and seeking God’s forgiveness and cleansing (1 John 1:9).
If you are both believers in Christ, we pray that your courtship would be centered on Him, with marriage as the godly goal. If one of you is not a believer, Scripture is clear: *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). A marriage built on unequal spiritual foundations will face immense struggles, for how can two walk together unless they agree (Amos 3:3)?
Let us pray for you now, asking God to work in your heart and in this situation according to His perfect will:
*"Heavenly Father, we lift our brother before You, asking for Your mercy and wisdom to guide him. Lord, if there has been sin in this relationship, we pray for conviction and true repentance. Cleanse them both by the blood of Jesus and restore what has been broken—if it aligns with Your will. Give them discernment to see whether this relationship honors You. If it is Your desire for them to marry, we pray for reconciliation, purity, and a love rooted in Christ. But if this relationship is not of You, grant him the strength to surrender it to You, trusting that Your plans are good.
Father, we ask that You would draw both of them closer to Yourself above all else. Let their greatest desire be to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33). If they are not both walking with You, reveal Yourself to them in power. Softens hearts, break down walls, and bring healing where there is pain.
We rebuke any spiritual strongholds of bitterness, unforgiveness, or lust that may be hindering restoration. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command every ungodly tie to be broken and every plan of the enemy to fail. Let Your peace, which surpasses understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we trust You with this situation. May Your will be done, not ours. Strengthen our brother to walk in obedience, even if it is difficult. Remind him that You are his ultimate portion and that no earthly relationship can satisfy like You can.
We pray all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."*
